Kuo, jumps in defense of the sales of these new iPhone 8 models a few days after seeing the entire list of statements that can be read in some media about the poor sales of these models. According to the analyst himself, his predictions would be similar to those that Apple may have at the moment and sales could be comparable to those expected for the iPhone X right now.
And we have dealt with the main suspect of these few sales according to analysts, the iPhone X. Yes, several media predicted before the launch of the new iPhone 8 just at the end of the keynote of September 12 that the X model of this year it would monopolize sales without mercy, but according to Kuo the demand of the new iPhones will be placed in a clear 50-50. Something that right now seems impossible according to what most analysts say.
Kuo himself says that one of the reasons for this pessimism in the sales of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus is due precisely to this, that the media and analysts themselves are not focusing their gaze on the spectacular iPhone 8 and therefore it seems that is being demanded less despite - always according to him - remaining stable within the initial forecasts. We'll see what happens when the iPhone X is released and above all make it clear that the stock will be much lower, possibly giving that feeling of higher sales.
I have been to the apple store in Madrid and there is no problem buying an iphone 8, in the several days that pass there will always be some who wanted to buy it, and it can be done without problem, I remember to buy my iphone 7 plus last year that It was impossible, I think people are like me waiting for the iPhone X and that if it will be difficult to get, the iPhone 8 just by putting a bigger screen without frames either ips, oled or whatever and leaving the same design I would have even thought about buying it, but again the same thing ………… ..
Well I think that the iPhone 8 is selling a lot, what happens is that most people buy it online that is faster and more comfortable, this is a factor to take into account in terms of the low influx of people in the stores.
On the other hand, the fact that there is enough stock I still think that it is not because it sells little but because there really is, due to the similarity of many of these components with respect to the previous model.
With the iPhone X it will not happen like that, there will be very little stock especially at the beginning and of course the units will run out very quickly. Of course, the list will always come out saying that it is selling better (making it a bestseller) and it is probably not true and what there is is very little stock for a normal demand.
We will have to wait a few months to be able to compare with more judgment the real sales of both terminals and people may get tired of waiting for iPhone X units and end up buying the 8 especially at Christmas which is a key date. We also do not know if the iPhone X is going to have a manufacturing defect or is going to give a problem and sales of the model may drop.
