Since the arrival of iOS 14, the tree of home screen customization has been on the rise. There have been few users who have created their own icon packs and have monetized them or designed them for their own use, creating true wonders in their Home Screens thanks to the application of Shortcuts.
The problem with this customization method is that When launching the shortcut of each application, I made a small step through the Shortcuts application prior to opening the selected application. This, together with the absence of notification balloons in these, made the customization a bit annoying and did not allow a complete user experience.
However, thanks to the latest Lauch Center Pro update, there is a possibility to customize the application icons without using Shortcuts. Launch Center Pro manages this by creating configuration profiles that allow you to add custom icons to the home screen. What's more, you have the option to create our own icons with its editor that allows you to manage photos, sizes, colors, geometric figures, etc.
When you have finished creating your icon pack, Launch Center Pro generates a downloadable configuration profile that you can install on your iOS or iPadOS device. Its developers indicate that each profile is cryptographically signed for your security and that only contains links to web clips to launch each custom application on the iPhone or iPad. Once the profile has been installed, custom icons will appear on the home screen and can be rearranged as desired.
Launch Pro Center is a free application on the App Store but its icon editor, Icon Composer, involves an in-app purchase of € 20. Additionally, the application offers a subscription of € 14,49 that also includes the Icon Composer. There is also a 7-day free trial.
