Microsoft to release the LTE version of the Surface Pro in December

Since Microsoft launched the Surface, many have been the media that have been determined to try to buy this device with the iPad, being completely different mainly because the Surface is managed by a desktop operating system while the iPad is managed by a mobile operating system, where interaction is limited only to taps on the screen.

In recent years, the iPad as well as iOS in its version for this device, have evolved a lot and currently if we could stop to consider the possibility that both devices can compete in the same category. For now and to try to expand the mobility offered by the Surface Pro, Microsoft plans to launch a version with an LTE connection to the market in the coming months.

As we can read in Neowin, a company spokesperson affirms that on December 1, a Surface Pro model with an LTE connection will go on the market. This movement is aimed at trying to capture users who need a continuous Internet connection and who are not willing to share their smartphone connection or using a USB stick, since the solution it offers Apple currently on iPads with an LTE connection is much more comfortable and simple.

Last May, Microsoft announced that it had plans to launch a Surface model with an LTE connection, but since then we had not heard anything more about it, until now. The presentation of this model could to be held in London next month as part of the Future Decoded fair.

According to the same medium, the model with an LTE connection would offer us a Core i5 chip, with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage or 8 GB and 256 GB of internal storage, this type of connection not being available. in the most powerful models of the company.
