Mojo, a Cydia-like installer for devices without Jailbreak

Alternative shop Mojo

One of the negative points of iOS or its App Store is that there are many applications that we would like to have installed on our iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad that we cannot install. The best example are emulators like MAME4iOS or Provenance, two of the emulators that I like the most that force me to Jailbreak or use Xcode in order to use them. But there are also alternative stores like Mojoa Cydia type store that will allow us to install applications not allowed in the App Store and even add repositories. Here's how to install Mojo.

How to install Mojo

  1. From the Safari of the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad we go to the web page mojoapp.xyz o mojoinstaller.com (one redirects the other).
  2. We touch on «Install directly from your iDevice».
  3. Next we touch on «Build Custom Profile».
  4. It will take us to the Settings so that we can install the profile. We tap on Install.

Install Mojo

  1. If we have a code activated, we enter it.
  2. We touch "Install" again.
  3. It will take us back to Safari. We played on «Install Mojo».
  4. In the pop-up window we tap on «Install».
  5. As in a tennis match x) will return us to the Settings. We touch "Install" again.
  6. Again, if we have a code activated, we enter it.
  7. We touch on «Next».

Mojo Installation

  1. We touch "Install" again.
  2. One last time, we tapped on "Install."
  3. We played "Ok" and we would have it. It does not return to Safari, where it says "Install Mojo", but we had already done that.
  4. Finally, we return to the Springboard and we will see the installed application.

Install Mojo

Users can create our own repository, just as we could do it in Cydia. If the official Mojo repository is not enough, we can also access «More Package Sources»And install the HiPStore, iEmulators and Emu4iOS repos. Within the repositories we find applications such as PPSSPP, ReatroArch, iTransmission or the emulators that we like so much, but we must bear in mind that Apple can revoke the certificate at any time and applications may stop working.

Mojo

If you try Mojo and you don't like it, you can uninstall it from Settings / General / Profile and device management / Mojo Installer / Delete profile. Have you tried it? What is your opinion?

It did not work when I gave the custom profile, it did not revive me to settings, it says "touch to update" and it returns to the Safari page

Installed correctly following the steps described, when starting mojo the installer type cydia appears but when installing the programs (specifically imame4all and gbaios) the installation window appears but does not complete them. Tested on ipadmini 9.2.1.
See if someone has managed to solve the installation problems.

I do not understand it, if it is not worth anything why they put it here, it is a waste of time

Hello, Mar and the rest that you are asking. Logically, when I published it and took the screenshots, it worked. It seems that there has been an avalanche of users or something similar (it has been published in several blogs) and it does not support it. It has been similar with a WhatsApp client for Linux: it worked, there are a flood of requests and it is no longer going so well.

      A greeting.

I have managed to install Flappy Bird but when I try to start it it gives me the following message:
    Untrusted business developer
"IPhone Distribution: Fuzhou Fanhao Software Limited company" has not received confirmation of confidence
of this iPhone. Until this developer is trusted, their business applications cannot be used.

To solve this problem you have to go to CONFIGURATION> GENERAL> PROFILES AND DEVICES and there is an option that says "BUSINESS APP" you will open the profile that is there and you only select the option that says it is reliable or something like that and that's it. you will not have that annoying message .. 😀

I suppose that general / configuration you mean that of the iphone, but I do not get the profiles of the device, it only puts a profile and inside is the profile of mojo alone, which or can be modified, you could explain it a little better, because Yes, it lets me install the app, but then I always get that sign.
