No more fines: the definitive radar warning for Spain and Portugal

NoMasFines

In Spain the radar warning devices fixed are legal, a driver cannot disable a mobile radar by inhibiting its frequency, but Yes you can look in the traffic database where the fixed speed cameras are and remember them, as well as using a GPS device to remind you.

There was a time when you had to buy these devices above 100 euros, but now you can take it on your iPhone for less than 2 euros. Today we are talking about «No More Fines», the app that will help you avoid annoyance and save money by avoiding fines for radars while driving.

No more fines can run on your iPhone in the backgroundYou can have it locked and it will warn you of a radar in the form of a notification, indicating where the radar is and at what speed you must pass through it. You can also keep it open while using TomTom or another navigation application.

Includes voice prompts, information on the road you are traveling on and best of all, speed camera update every week. Every time you make a new trip, your iPhone will download the latest speed camera changes for free, you don't have to pay to have the database updated, everything is included for you to update your app for free for life. Users can also submit new radars and they will be included in the next update.

The speed camera database contains data from Spain and Portugal. Fixed radars, tunnel radars, section radars, and also usual positions of mobile radars. It also includes black spots, dangerous curves and places where there are usually police checkpoints. You can choose which of these options you want to appear on your iPhone and which you want silence.

It also has a map so that you can see the radars that you are going to find on a route and you can plan your route and it is compatible with the Bluetooth from your car to receive alerts by lowering the volume of the music.

El extra battery consumption It is minimal, for me it has dropped by 13% in more than 3 hours of use on the road, when normally in 3 hours it usually drops by 8-10%, so there has not been much difference.

You can download No More Fines now for 1,79 euros at the following link:

I do not know how this app will go, but the gentlemen of Atom Systems Incorporated, it is already the third radar app that they take out in a year or so. Of course all at € 1,79. First "radar detector." They stopped updating it and the hell you had to buy Radar Zapper. The latter since December has only received a minor update, and seeing that they have just released this, I know what will happen. I do not doubt that this new one works well, but my confidence towards these gentlemen is zero.

  2.   Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

Hello chicote69, I would like to clarify some things:

Radar Detector came out 3 years ago, in 2011, and Radar Zapper in 2013. Users who bought the old app less than 6 months ago received Radar Zapper totally free, something that not many app companies do, and games don't even tell you .

Regarding the updates, Radar Zapper has received 12 updates in a year and a half, many of them with great features, and the last ones, just maintenance because the app works great and you don't need to put anything else into it. In addition, the database is automatically updated every week, so it does not make sense to update it if it is not for something really important.

No more fines is the answer to the demands of some users who tell us that they are interested in a very simple app, with very little battery consumption, but at the same time powerful. It is a very different app from Radar Zapper, and that is why it does not replace it. No more fines, for example, only Spain and Portugal have, not all of Europe, and for example the notification system is simpler; As I already told you, they are very very different apps.

In any case, we are a company that gives great support to users, we look at forums and blogs to answer questions, and we try to serve customers as if they were friends.

We remain at your disposal in case you have doubts or need any clarification, and if you want to try no more fines for free so that you can see a little difference with the other apps you have bought, it would be a pleasure to pass you a promotional code so that you download it 🙂

A hug and we remain at your entire disposal

Before talking about a paid app, you should test it well before, it leaves much to be desired about everything you say it does, it is not precise at all, I have been on a toll road 20 km in a straight line and they did not stop notifying every 500 mq there was a dangerous curve, the distance of the radars and the type of radar totally inaccurate, it indicates a limit of 120 km / h and at the same time of 60, and it is not compatible with the car's Bluetooth and I have tested it in three different cars and modern.

    1.    Gonzalo R. said

We have tested the app very thoroughly since it was in beta version until the final version, what happens here (what can I tell you that you do not know "Iván") is that there is a lot of competition and interests in the subject of detection applications of radars, those who are at the top do not want rivals, and it is natural.

The best thing is that the developers work and demonstrate the quality of their own apps, not the free review of a person who has tested an app that has been in the App Store for 3 hours in 24 different cars.

The rivalry is great and the users are the ones who win, but as long as it is clean and healthy.

      1.    Ivan said

Gonzalo I repeat to you almost the same thing that I have commented with the app, if you are telling me that I am a developer, before saying things make sure "Gonzalo", because you are wrong, since I am a simple user who has been guided by your article on buying an app that according to your "tests" you have tested it very thoroughly, and I have relied on that, and of course that I criticize for free and with knowledge of the cause because for that I have paid it and for that you have the comments section, but of course what you are not interested in, you erase or criticize it.

    2.    Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

Ivan if you can please pass us those inaccurate points so that we can correct them. There is an option in the app that can be used to report new radars or correct existing ones. If you write to us support@atomstudios.es We will send you a guide to configure the bluetooth of the car. Optionally you can call us by phone and we will configure it together in a moment, which is the easiest option.

      1.    Ivan said

I will contact you by email so that you can send me that guide to configure the Bluetooth, after spending all day using it I still think the same, anyway thanks for your attention.

    1.    Gonzalo R. said

It turns out that we have deleted a comment from a person whose email is 2 letters (example xx@xx.com) and you are writing from a proxy, does or does it smell like tongo?

Really, if you have commercial interests there are many ways to do things well, we are contacted by hundreds of developers a day like this developer, when an app is interesting it is tested and discussed, especially when the creator is Spanish , for that reason we do not charge anything, so you can contact us whenever you want. In my profile you have my email.

      A greeting.

Just because of the attention Alejandro is paying, I'm going to buy it.

  6.   Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

Condemor if you want to try the app without obligation you can write to us at support@atomstudios.es and we will give you a free promotional code so that you can try it, you will see that it is a great app. We have worked countless hours with great enthusiasm on it and we think it is a very simple and powerful product.

On the other hand, this happens to everyone in the appstore. We know that there are users who write negatively to all the apps we release, it is inevitable; But we also have loyal users who buy our apps and positively value our work and when you serve people well you generate loyal users who buy the news and value them (what in music are fans, I don't know what name it would have here)

I wish there were more, it is our dream, and we continue working every day to achieve it ...

I said, if you want to try the app for free, tell me and I'll give it to you, the reviews are great for us to improve, even if they are negative, they are the ones that you learn the most

    1.    condemor said

I thank you for Alejandro's offer, I am not going to ask you for the code, because I think that if you make a program and it is good, I would like you to earn something with him so that you can continue developing your work.

  7.   Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

The free codes to which you have requested them by email are already sent. Thank you for trusting us and we hope you like the app 🙂 if someone wants some more, no problem, we still have some around here for which you want to try the app

  8.   Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

Hi there! I am writing to comment that we no longer have any code left 🙁 it has really been an incredible avalanche of requests, and we have distributed all those that we had not already given to the press 🙁 we are very sorry not to be able to serve everyone.

First of all, I would like to thank you with all my heart, we are a very small Spanish company, hard-working like the rest of the mortals, and this show of affection and support, and some emails that we have read, fill us with joy and satisfaction.

If someone is in doubt about whether or not to catch the app, go ahead without fear, whoever does not like it will get their money back without problems and WITHOUT questions.

Greetings, and, once again, a million thanks from the heart

Good afternoon, Alejandro. I bought Radar Zapper at the time, of which I have not had any complaints. Now I ask, should I buy this other No More Fines, or with Radar Zapper I have enough.
    All the best

  10.   Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

    Hello Jose Luis

They are similar but different apps, both perform their function very well, although Radar Zapper is more powerful and no more fines are simpler. I believe that they are compatible, the truth, although I believe that no more fines exceed it in some things such as work speed, less memory and more ease of use, although on the other hand RZ is more powerful and has all of Europe and iPod ...

If you want I can tell you what I do, no more fines for short and medium trips (we go day by day) and Radar Zapper for trips.

    I hope I have helped

    1.    Jose Luis said

Thank you very much for answering, Alejandro, I think I will buy the application, so I will have both. All the best.

    Hi Alexander,

Is it possible to have a promotional code? Right now I have the "Radar Warning Device" app but I would like to try yours since I move around Madrid a lot on a daily basis and I need an application that is as complete as possible.

    1.    Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

Hello kix, I'm sorry but we have already given them all, there has been a real barrage of requests, so much so that we have not even been able to attend to half the friends who have asked us for a code. A hug and thanks for your interest in the app

  12.   who said

Do not worry, I understand it perfectly so I will buy it, total, for € 1,79 I am not going to ruin more than I already am lol.

Hello Alejandro I had a question and I wanted to know if you have the asturias radars available since I live in the town I would like to know before buying it Thank you in advance 😀

    1.    Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

I have family in Avilés so imagine if I don't put them

  14.   chicate69 said

Alejandro, your attitude and communication honor you.

I have a question with the new application. In Radar Zaper, the most negative thing that I find is that in the background it does not notify audibly. When I am driving I do not like to walk looking at my mobile every minute to see if there is radar notification. In the new notifies in the background ?.

    Thank you.

    A greeting.

    1.    Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

Yes, here we have done the same, it is to save battery; Although if people ask for it a lot, we may put it as an option

  15.   elmike11 said

    Hello Alejandro!
Nice to see they are interested in the end user.
    My respects.
An off topic question if you have the time to answer.
You as a developer and seeing so much change in ios8, swift, extra work, etc.
How do you see the updates for ios8 in general?
Will they be charged as new apps or simply an update because the user has already paid?
Do not misinterpret me, that did not ask with double intention, I do not mean your specific app, but as a developer; the big picture, for example when we go from ios 6 to 7.
    Greetings from El Salvador.

    1.    Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

      Hello Elmike11

I sincerely believe that many developers will give it their nose (that's how clear I speak) and will charge again. It already happened with iOS 7, it will happen again with iOS 8. I certainly am not going to do it; I prefer to put new iOS 8 features in my existing apps and give them more life and differentiate them from the rest of the competition, benefiting users who have already paid for it, for example Radar Zapper and no more fines will have exclusive functions for iOS 8 that already we are preparing. A hug and I hope I have clarified you. Greetings to El Salvador, where we have many clients and friends. There our Museek app is very popular 🙂

  16.   elmike11 said

You can say it louder but not clearer 😉
Thanks for shedding light on what's to come.
I love the way they work and the way they think.
Hopefully I work in a startup like this and contribute.

I will review Museek ipso facto😎
    Hugs to Spain to Alejandro!
Bon appetit, I see that it is almost noon.
    Here at dawn.

  17.   Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

    Thanks for your support!

  18.   pabloico said

Out of jokes, a doubt Alejandro, can you configure the volume of the notification to be different from the volume of the iphone?

Let me explain, in the car I go with the spotify and I take it high, and when the radar application sounds, it does it at the same sound level and the beep is very unpleasant. If this could be done, you would have a new client around here.

    regards

    1.    Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

Hello Pabloico, if you look at the screenshots of the appstore you will see that in the configuration there are two volumes, one Master and another Volume. The master affects all the sound of the app and the music in general, while the Volume affects only voices and beeps. The trick is to set the Master high and the Volume low, so you will get it to do what you want. I also have spotify and on trips I put it like this, we have also made the sound of the alerts not cut the music, it lowers the volume a little, so that you do not stop hearing the music, it is very pleasant and it works very well ! You will tell me. Greetings

      1.    pabloico said

Hi Alejandro, in the screenshots I don't see two volumes, I only see one…: /

  19.   Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

Well, it's true, that just doesn't come out. I leave you here a screenshot http://s30.postimg.org/ndvcv90sx/2014_06_17_16_51_07.png

Well, great application with a very simple operation and running 100 × 100, more than recommended, done 800 km with it recently released and it sings the radars well, some are poorly located or are not (possibly due to a bad inclusion of someone who notice by mistake and was put in the update) but perfect.
He misses that the sound of the notification in the background (which works perfectly) is different or can be modified, it sounds the same as the one you can have in WhatsApp and get confused, but you get used to it.
I said, application more than justified and if the database is kept very up-to-date, it will be an indispensable application

    1.    Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

Thank you very much Juancho! We are very happy that you are happy, now to continue working to improve it !!!

  21.   Carlos said

Hi Alejandro (or people who have developed the app) I really think I misunderstood a couple of things about the application or it is that they do not work for me ...
They say that the app works in the background ... When I am driving and I have the app open I have no problem with it but when my phone crashes the application sends me a message telling me that the application continues to work in the background and that it will no longer warn me by voice of the possible radars but it will do it by notification but nothing else ever comes to my phone, the truth is that the application would be great if the voice alerted you in the background (and with your phone locked) of the news of the road, otherwise the application is very good and I encourage you to continue improving it, one last thing that shocks me a lot when using your application is that the app is the only one on my phone which is completely in lowercase, nonsense on my part? Yes, but in the small details they are the most important

    1.    Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

      Hi carlos

Thanks for the feedback, well the lowercase thing is my mania, I find it more beautiful that the font has the same height ... well about tastes, you know.

Regarding notifications, doing it through notifications is the best way to make sure that it does not waste battery, we are considering putting voice alerts also with the app closed, but Radar Detector already does it like that and we know that it drains the battery very quickly because it already forces you to have the app running 100% in the background.

Maybe we will put it as an option, with an adjustment within the app and that people decide.

      regards

  22.   Charlie said

Hello, one question, if I have the Tomtom running in the foreground, will I listen to the warnings of your app and see your graphics? Thanks

    1.    Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

      Hi charlie

With the TomTom in the foreground you will hear a sound like when they send you a WhatsApp and you will see a notification on the screen that by default is strip type; but that you can change to window in the notification settings. The sound of the notification can also be changed so that it is different from the one that comes by default, all in iPhone settings

      regards

  23.   Charlie said

Thanks for the answers, app already bought

    1.    Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

Thanks for everything Charlie, if you like the app do not hesitate to leave us a review in the appstore, that helps us a lot in our work. All the best

  24.   Alejandro Luengo Gomez said

I am writing to tell you (a bit in advance, since you are all great hehe) that we have just uploaded a new version of the app to Apple for review. The new version allows voices or notifications to be heard in the background, to choose. We leave you a screenshot of how the option is.

    http://s8.postimg.org/9lky7euol/2014_06_24_22_03_41.png

In addition to this, I would like to thank you all for your full support of the app and the project, we continue to improve the app every day so that it is to your liking.

A hug and thanks to all!
