Movistar already allows us to pay for purchases from the App Store through the phone bill

Every time we buy an application through the App Store, the charge is made to the credit card that we have associated with our Apple account. The same happens with Apple Music, the Mac App Store, iCloud or any other service that the guys from Cupertino offer us.

For a couple of years, Apple has been reaching different agreements with operators in various countries so that the most reluctant users and who do not just trust when using a card to make purchases over the Internet, can make their payments to through your phone bill. Finally that option is already available in Spain, although at the moment only with Movistar.

This option is available in more and more countries, but for now, and although it may seem strange, Apple has failed to convince any American operator, so that in the United States this convenient way to pay for the applications or services that we use from Apple is not available.

If we are Movistar customers and we want to change the payment method, setting aside our credit card and thus being able to concentrate in a single invoice all the expenses we make with our smartphone (calls, internet, applications that we buy, the iCloud subscription, the movies we buy or rent, Apple Music, books ...) we just have to go to Settings and click on our name, located at the top of the Settings menu. Later we click on iTunes Store and App Store (see Apple ID), Payment information and select Mobile phone.

This way it will be the operator who is in charge of billing us for all the services we use and the applications or music we buy every month. This new option will surely allow us to control the money we have for our smartphone and the ecosystem that surrounds it every month.
