Well Zephyr has not been updated yet but Hamza Sood has created MultitaskingGestures, a tweak very similar to Zephyr, and that we will show you on video so that you can see how it works.
MultitaskingGestures is available on Cydia for $ 1,50 (not compatible with iPad), and you can find it in the BigBoss repo. What exactly does the application offer us?
- Close applications by swiping up from the bottom edge of the springboard
- Close applications with the gesture of joining three fingers
- Change applications by sliding from the right edge of the screen to the left edge, or by doing the opposite gesture
In an update that has just arrived at Cydia, its developer added a menu within the System Settings, in which we can customize the tweak's operation a bit. Both in application switching gestures (from right to left or vice versa) and in closing applications (from bottom to top) you can limit the areas in which the gesture will have an effect. You can also specify applications in which the tweak will be disabled. Finally, to fix the problem with the Control Center, its developer allows it to be moved to the Notification Center. In the event that you do not activate this option, the Control Center will only appear when you are on the springboard or on the lock screen.
MultitaskingGestures is without a doubt a good alternative for those of us who were waiting for the Zephyr update, but it still needs to improve a lot to match it. We hope that in future updates its developer will solve these problems and provide the application with a configuration menu to allow us to configure it to our liking.
