Musixmatch: view the lyrics of Apple Music songs

musixmatch

Something that I do not understand, and I hope that it will return in the future, is that Apple has decided to eliminate the option to see the lyrics of the songs in the latest version of the Music application for the iPad, although it is still present for the iPhone. If we listen to a song that is not sung in our native language or if we do not even understand something that is said in a song in our language, it never hurts to have the option of seeing the lyrics and understanding everything we hear. They are not natively available at this time, but Musixmatch will allow us to see the lyrics of the music that we are playing on our iPhone.

Visualizing them couldn't be easier. Just open the app and play a song. Musixmatch has its own player (which is actually a direct access), which will allow us to play the songs directly from the application. If we are already listening to the song, the mini-player will appear at the bottom and, when we touch it, we will see two lines of the song. The good thing about Musixmatch is that the letter advances automatically, as if it were karaoke.

Another function that I really like is its music, with which also we will be able to recognize the song that we are listening. It won't have the database that Shazam has, but the moment it detects the song, the letter will appear instantly and at the exact point in which it is playing. Anyway, I'm trying a lot of songs and, for now, I have recognized them all. If with the musical tastes that I have, it works for me, I take it for granted that it will serve the majority of users.

In addition, its widget will allow us to see the lyrics from the Notification Center. We will only have to slide it down to see the letter. More comfortable impossible. I see it so comfortable that I have asked them if they could also add it on Mac since I've been using it for a long time. TunesText + Get Lyrical to see the lyrics, but that doesn't help me if the song I'm listening to comes from the internet. I have to have the lyrics saved on the iPhone.

The best of all is that Musixmatch is a free application, but with integrated purchases. You can remove ads, mirror and have premium support for a price of € 3.99 / 6 months or 4.99 / year, but it is something that I do not see necessary. Advertising has not appeared to me, but presumably it will come to bother in the future to invite us to subscribe.

Apple did not remove this option, you just have to click on the album image and that's it

Hello, oskr117. I have the lyrics in all my songs, I'm playing right now and it doesn't appear. That if it appeared in the previous version.

      Greetings.
