2012 is ending, the year in which we have seen the iPad Mini and two iPad Retina “born”, and it is a good time to see what the AppStore has given us for our device. Surely we have all installed dozens (or hundreds) of applications, of which in the end we leave a small percentage on our iPad, and that we really use ... 20? There may be many. That is why I think it may be useful to collect those that my 10 favorite iPad apps. Obviously these are applications intended for a general public, not applications focused on very specific tasks.
Without a doubt, the one that occupies the first place is Tweetbot. The best Twitter client hands down, a real wonder for those of us who use this social network intensively, and for those who don't. Multi-account, synchronization between devices, integration with services such as Pocket, bit.ly, Readability ... Possibility of managing all the services of your Twitter account from the application itself, blocking and silencing certain users, managing lists. Simply sensational. It is worth to the last penny, without a doubt.
We move little and we find Pocket, an excellent application for read later what you can't read now. You're looking at your Twitter timeline and you find a news item that interests you but you don't have time, or an article in your internet browser and you can't stop to read it, because you press a button and that's it, you already have it in Pocket to read it later, whenever you can. A free app and a free service. Essential.
We change third, and now we go to applications to make our work easier, such as GoodReader. If you are looking for an application that allows you to view documents in almost any format (PDF, Microsoft Office, iWork), images and videos, with the possibility of synchronizing with the main cloud storage systems (Dropbox, SugarSync, SkyDrive, Google Drive ...) this is your option. Also, although the application does not allow editing, it does allow you to open the document in another application to edit it. A true "Swiss Army Knife".
The number of users and passwords that we use is increasing, and we cannot always use the same ones, in addition to not being advisable to do so. Therefore, applications like 1Password they are so important. This application, totally renewed very recently, allows you to save all the users and passwords you use, so you can easily remember them. Of course, the content is encrypted and password protected, so you don't have to worry about it falling into strange hands. It also syncs with the Mac application via iCloud or Dropbox.
Photographic applications there are many, many, and I have tried many of them, but the best of all, without a doubt, is Camera +. Enhance the iOS Camera app itself, adding more options to the capture of photos, and also allows you to edit the photos. Integrated with Flickr and Facebook, you will be able to access all your photos in both accounts, download and modify them, and upload them again. A little wonder for fans of photography.
And complementing the previous one, we find PhotoSync. This excellent application allows you transfer via Wifi or Bluetooth any photo or video you have on your device to another that you have the application installed, and since in addition to iOS it exists for Mac and Windows, transferring the photos to your computer or from it is very simple, without the need for cables or iTunes.
We enter the "Leisure" section and here the main protagonist is plex, a wonderful application that allows you see on your iPad all the multimedia content you have on your computer, or on an external disk shared on your network, thanks to the server that you can mount on your computer. No more converting movies, or syncing with iTunes to watch them, Plex does it for you.
Watching TV on the iPad is something more and more frequent in many homes, thanks to accessories or applications such as Zattoo. Totally free, it only asks you to register on its website, and in return you will be able to enjoy all the general channels (except Antena 3) and some extras, in generally good quality, and live. Highly recommended.
And we save the games for last. First one for the smallest of the house, for me, the great discovery of this year: foldify. Hilarious game in which you can create your own cutouts, print them and thus be able to create real 3D figures. It has pre-designed models, but creating your own is very easy, you can also share it with other users.
And as they say, last but not least, the one that for me is the game of the year: Modern Combat 4. Extraordinary FPS game, in the purest Call of Duty style, with graphics typical of the best consoles, and very good playability despite the iPad's touch controls. If you like these games, you have to get it, you're going to love it.
This is my list, which may or may not look like yours. What are your favorite iPad apps? Share them, surely some of us do not know yet.
More information - Tweetbot is now available for the iPad, 1Password 4 for iOS with full renewal by December 13, New update to Camera + for iPad, Plex plays any video format on your iPad, Foldify for iPad lets you create cool 3D cutouts, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, impressive.
I think you spend too much money on AppS absurdly, there are free applications that do everything described in these paid ones and they have nothing to envy. It's just a little searching and testing. Spending 6,95 on an application to save the keys having free ones that do the same seems silly with all due respect.
Which one? I'll be happy to check it out.
I join the question, since after searching a lot the only one that offers security is that.
1Password is the only one that works fine, alright 😉
My folder. Free and with a decoy password to hide compromising content, it works very well and you can also save tested photos and videos.
There are applications that are not so good, perhaps if you save passwords but not in document management in .pdf. In fact, for goodReader you have to pay, but Wow! It is the best money invested, I can assure you that I have tried many paid and free and like this none. By the way, there is a terrific tutorial at http://www.ipadyapps.es I had a question and they answer you right away. You still have to do things right.
Can someone tell me what application I need to replace adobe flash player?
There is nothing to replace it. Adobe Flash Player is already abandoned in its mobile version by Adobe itself -
