On February 14, a former student obsessed with weapons entered his old high school armed with an assault rifle and killed 17 people. Unsurprisingly, the alarms quickly went off again for the freedom that American citizens have when it comes to having weapons and the ease of obtaining them.
Beyond the regrets and solutions that never go anywhere because they do not satisfy any of the parties involved, lActress Alyssa Milano has called for a boycott against three companies: Amazon, Apple and Fedex, urging users to stop using their services for at least one day.
If you are wondering what Apple's connection to this boycott may be, we just have to stop by the Apple TV to see how this association has its own channel available in the Apple set-top box from the third generation in addition to offering its own application that can be downloaded to the 4th and 5th generation Apple TV. Apple has not yet ruled on whether it intends to withdraw this application or keep it on compatible devices.

In the twet, actress Alyssa Milano requests that these companies sever ties with the National Rifle Association. Alyssa requests that users not use Apple TV for a day, as well as not use Amazon's streaming video service where this channel is also available. Regarding Fedex, the reason for the boycott is to withdraw the discount program on shipments to all members of the NRA (National Rifle Association in English). Fedex has muddled through claiming that they do not work with the NRA, but that it is UPS who works and offers discounts to members.
With the exception of the NRAtv app, Apple has no other link, that is known, with this association, at least significantly. What do you think? Should Apple get rid of the application as requested?
