NCWeather, a weather widget for the Notification Center (Cydia)

NCWeather

Weather information is still the protagonist of iOS 7. Never have so many Cydia tweaks related to weather information appeared, and today a new one has just appeared that may be the one that best integrates into the system. NCWeather is this new tweak, and what it does is add a widget to the notification center in the purest iOS 7 style with weather information. Nothing else, no complicated settings, no code editing, no other dependencies like Cydget or Winterboard. A simple and effective tweak that competes directly with the one who until now seemed the absolute king, Forecast.

NCWeather-1

NCWeather is already available in Cydia, on the BigBoss repo, for $ 0,99, and as I indicated before, the best thing is that it does not need any other dependencies to work. The weather information is collected directly from the native iOS application, and offers it to us through a neat widget, without animations or anything similar, but perfectly respecting the aesthetics of the system. By clicking on the widget we can alternate between the different views: current information, hourly information and 6-day forecast.

NCWeather installs without adding new icons. We will only find a button to activate or deactivate it within System Settings, specifically within the Notification Center settings. In this menu we can activate it, and if we click on the "Edit" button we can move it to place it in the desired order. Do not look for more configurations because there are none. When you see how NCWeather looks in the notification center, you can't quite understand why Apple included such scant weather information and only text in it. As usual, Cydia comes to the rescue, and Apple may implement it in future updates.

Its developer says that it works on all devices with iOS 7.

Check that you have it activated in Settings-Notification Center- Today's display.

Simple and easy to access. It should be taken into account by Apple in future updates

It has a problem with forecast, if you have both installed, they both show incorrect information, and it is only when you display the notification center when forecast breaks down, that is, some problem / incompatibility has with forecast, I hope they fix it, because I I want to have both 😀

The main icon does not reflect the actual weather, it is sunny and the icon shows snow.
Does anyone know how to fix it?
