NetworkList: save the access data to your WiFi networks (Cydia)

NetworkList-07

We are storing more and more Wi-Fi networks on our devices: the home network, work, friends, family, public networks ... iOS security prevents access to data from the networks to which you have connected, such as the password. It is a security mechanism, so that no one can see that code, but sometimes it is an inconvenience, such as when you restore your device, or if you want to share the key with another known person so that you can access the network. NetworkList is a new Cydia application that comes to solve precisely that problem, showing you the SSID and passkey of all networks to which you have connected from your device.

Once the application is installed, there is no new icon or specific menu. To make use of it, we must access the «WiFi» menu of the iOS Settings, and click on a new button that will have appeared at the bottom, «Known networks«. Upon entering, we will see a list of all known networks, their names and access codes. By clicking on any of them we can copy the SSID or the password, and send it to our friend or ourselves by email or message.

Obviously there will be many who think that this application does not meet the minimum security requirements that any operating system must comply with. Indeed, anyone who takes your iPhone or iPad will be able to access all the networks that you have stored. In the decision of each one is to use this type of application or not. I have personally already uninstalled it from my iPad. The application is free, and you have it already available in the BigBoss repo. I also remind you that there is another similar application, WiFi Passwords, which is also free and has the advantage that you can send yourself an email with all the keys, save it and delete the application.
