We all remember the opening of the first Apple store in Belgium, located in Brussels, and which was the first of the new series of physical outlets designed by Jony Ive. In addition to a spectacular sleek design on the outside, it was also the first to incorporate such striking changes as the giant screen inside or the decorative trees that we find throughout the store. This new design, reserved for its most significant stores, is already being implemented in its stores around the world, such as the renovated Apple Store on Regent Street, in London.
Just over a year later, the Apple Store in Brussels could have a new partner on Belgian territory, as Apple he could be building a shop in the well-known city of Bruges. These leaks are based on new works that are being carried out in one of the significant buildings of that city, and have been uncovered by Alexandre Colleau, the person who predicted the opening of the Apple Store in Brussels before it was announced.
In any case, it seems still too early to say if this information will end up becoming reality, since Colleau himself affirms that this store would not open its doors until 2018. We are not very clear what it is that would lead Apple to delay an opening so much, since a year of work is too much even for the perfectionism of the Cupertino company.

One of the possible answers to this would be that they think remodel the entire building to make use of it, as is the case in many Apple Stores, which would require a more in-depth work and would involve more time. At the moment, neither job offers nor any other clue that could reveal a new Apple Store in Bruges have been revealed, but we will be attentive to any news that may arise.
