Apple just released its second developer beta of the iOS 13.2 update with some notable changes. Among them we have discovered a collection of new emojis, which are part of the Unicode 12 emoji release. Apple has already let us see a series of new emojis that would be launched this year, and now it seems that they are going to be official. Will be when the final version of iOS 13.2 is released. If we have just received the Beta 2 of this update, it means that within a few days it will be available to all users.
Unicode 12 adds 59 new emoji characters. If we count the gender variations, the figure goes up to 75, and if we also count the different skin tones, they make a total of 230 different new emojis.
The new animals included in this update are the sloth, the orangutan, the otter, the skunk, and the flamingo. New foods include garlic, onion, waffles, croquettes, stick butter, oysters, box of drinks, mate, and ice cubes.
The new faces, gestures, and poses include actions such as yawning, hand pinching, kneeling, and standing. Also included are new people holding hands, with different combinations of gender and skin tone.
There are also new emojis for a topic as sensitive as disability, such as an ear with a hearing aid, a deaf person, arm and leg prostheses, a person with a cane, another in a wheelchair, a guide dog, two different wheelchairs, one manual and one motorized, and a cane.
There are other emojis of various themes such as a Hindu temple, a paraglider, a planet with rings, a diving mask, a yo-yo, a kite, a safety vest, a swimsuit, briefs, shorts, dance shoes, a banjo , an ax, a drop of blood, bandages, stethoscope, razor makeup, a white heart, and different circles and squares of new colors.
You can see all the new emojis at Emojipedia. I said, in a few weeks, available in iOS 13.2
