New WhatsApp update adds more 3D Touch features

New WhatsApp update which confirms the good pace they have taken since the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus went on sale. The new version of WhatsApp is version 2.12.12 and, as usual in the latest updates, it seems that they want to play with us to see if we can find out what news this new version will include, since the list of changes, which you have after cutting, it is exactly the same as the one they included in the version 2.12.11, a version that was released just two weeks ago, so we cannot know exactly what this new version includes.

What's new in WhatsApp 2.12.12

  • Preview the links you send and receive. When you submit a link you have the option to include or not include the preview.
  • More 3D Touch features: Peek and Pop gestures are available in your chats.
  • A redesigned Settings page.
  • You can view all starred messages in Settings - Starred messages.

Those who have a Apple Watch you can test if this update is finally compatible with your smart watch, as expected by the latest beta. Moreover, we can also check whether we can mute a contact within groups, something that I have never tried and I do not know if the option to mute that I have seen when accessing a profile from a group was previously available or not.

So, we have to continue playing with WhatsApp Inc. to know the news that this new version brings. There is also the possibility, although I hope not, that this version only includes minor corrections.     If you can mute the contacts individually, you enter the contact information and there is an option that puts silence. With the Apple Watch it is still not compatible
