The first Apple Store in Taiwan will open on July 1

The guys from Cupertino continue to expand the number of Apple Stores around the world. The last one that Apple plans to open in the next few days is the one located in Taiwan, being the first official Apple store in the country, a country where Apple Pay has been available for a few months now and users can now pay with their phone bill for all purchases they make through iTunes, Apple Music music subscription services, and more. This Apple Store will open its doors on July 1 at 11 in the morning, local time and where different events will be held to celebrate the opening.

This first Apple Store in the country will be located on the ground floor of the Taipei 101 shopping center, in the Xinyi district, one of the most important in the city. This store will offer all the services and workshops that are currently available in most Apple Stores that the Cupertino-based company has spread around the world. Like previous openings, Apple has hired local artists to decorate not only the interior of the store, but also to decorate the exterior of the store until opening day. On this occasion, Yang-Shih-Yi has been in charge of creating the panels that currently line the Apple Store.

When Apple opens this new Apple Store on July 1, the guys from Cupertino they will have 496 physical Apple Stores spread all over the world, specifically in 17 countries. Obviously the United States is the country with the most stores, 270 to be exact. The last Apple Store that Apple opened, a month ago, was in Singapore, another country where, as in Taiwan, Apple users had to resort to authorized resellers in order to purchase products designed by Apple in California.
