Nintendo sneaks into the AppStore

Balloon Fight

Sorry about the title but I had to use it, those of you who have lived through the golden age of the NES and other consoles now considered "retro" will know this game, "Balloon Fight", developed by Nintendo in 1984 for the NES console and some arcade machines, a classic.

As it turns out, a developer named Ding Dan has taken care of recreate this game perfectly and post it on the AppStore, and guess what, to everyone's surprise the game has passed Apple's review.

The most nostalgic will be happy for the news, the only difference between the original game and this copy is that the copyright says Intending instead of Nintendo, something that surely does not affect the playability and enjoyment of this game.

My recommendation is that you take the opportunity to download it as soon as you can, it is completely free and does not contain advertising, It could be said that it has been created without profit motive, and for violating Nintendo's copyright is why I encourage you to not delay, I doubt that Apple will take a long time to get hold of it.

On the other hand, in case you are interested or curious, this is not any NES emulator, we won't be able to load other games or anything like that, it's just a perfectly rewritten version of the original game.

For my part, I would prefer that it was Nintendo who published its own more retro games, even if it put them at € 0 each, but as it seems they are going to carry Iwata's wish (even the biggest can be wrong) to the end, it will be third-party developers who will publish their games, and above all for free, which is worse, since that money would be very good for Nintendo.

Balloon Fight

Betting on the exclusivity of its platform made sense before, but since consoles like Wii U and others are not going to achieve the same success that they had in their day (with the exception of the Nintendo 3DS XL or New 3DS XL or whatever you want to call the last generation that they sell, which in Japan is a leader in sales and there are still people who buy this platform), right now they should seriously consider releasing even their oldest games in versions for iOS and Android, is sure to bring free publicity, substantial benefits, and a new life to those games that no one can buy and enjoy anymore.

To finish I would like to thank Nacho for having found this App through the AppStore, I am sure that he and many other people have brought very good memories of hours invested in these video games 😀

Can someone help me how to remove the 90 day store block to download my music again, it does not let me deauthorize everything. This message keeps popping up again but it's less if there is any way

Great! The touch control is a bit rough for me, but everything will get used to. Thank you very much for the news 🙂
By the way, I totally agree with what you say in the penultimate paragraph.
