Pangu is serious: the Chinese version of its jailbreak for iOS 9.2-9.3.3 is now available

Pangu jailbreak iOS 9.2-9.3.3

As promised, immediately after posting the tweet informing that they would do so, Pangu has already released the Chinese version of the jailbreak which will allow us to remove restrictions on iOS 9.2-9.3.3. It is now available in pangu.io, but personally I would wait for the English version to be released (this is in Chinese). The Chinese version installs its own tool for managing iOS devices, the 25pp, and it is likely to install something else. Since we don't know Chinese, if we do that "accept, accept, accept" thing that we do when installing any other software, we could install something that we don't want / need.

The first version is only available for computers with Windows operating system, so if you have a Mac (it goes without saying that also if you use Linux), you will have to create a virtual machine or go to the house of an acquaintance to allow you to jailbreak your iOS device. What you can also do is what I will do, wait for a version that I can read for myself. Most likely, the first English version is also not available for Mac from the beginning.

The jailbreak for iOS 9.2-9.3.3 is now available

Although we recommend waiting for the english version y Actualidad iPhone no va a publicar un tutorial sobre la versión china, mi compañero Luis Padilla me ha dicho que sí que va a probarlo, por lo que si estáis impacientes por romper las cadenas de vuestros iAparatos os merecerá la pena visitar IPad news throughout this afternoonhere is the tutorial).

So it seems this is serious. As I said in a post published this morning, if you do not have iOS 9.3.3 installed, it is not worth updating until the tool you are going to use is launched, but I do not think you would lose much if you updated. When they release the English version, we will create a tutorial so that any user can jailbreak iOS 9.2-9.3.3.

If you want to download the tool, you can do it from:

From what I understand on Pangi's page this is a Thetered Jailbreak? Will we occupy the PC every time we turn it off?

    1.    Paul Aparicio said

Gola, Korn-El. From what I seem to understand, it will be a new type of jailbreak. In English they say something like "to do or not to jailbreak is no longer the question", which means that we will be the users who will decide whether or not to have a jailbreak.

If I am not mistaken, they will release a tool as they have been up to now, but once the jailbreak is done, the device will be "jailbroken." If we turn it off (or force a restart, I don't know), it will enter a kind of safe mode that will disable the jailbreak, but we can do it again if we run the application again (without a computer).

As this is the first time something like this has been launched, I don't really know how it will work, but that's the idea.

      A greeting.

A bit silly question: can I jailbrake ios 9.3.2 or do I have to upgrade to 9.3.3?

    1.    Paul Aparicio said

Hi Carlos. We put it like this so that it is not so long, but iOS 9.2-9.3.3 means that it will be compatible with devices that have an installed version between iOS 9.2 and iOS 9.3.3. I don't remember all the versions that they released, but it will be compatible with 9.2,9.2.1, 9.2.2, 9.3, 9.3.1, 9.3.2 and 9.3.3 (I don't know if I left any).

      A greeting.

Good afternoon, can you explain to me what the Thetered jailbreak is?

      1.    Paul Aparicio said

Hi Sebas. It means "tied up." If you shut down a device with a tethered jailbreak, you will need a computer to restart it. Without a computer, the device will not turn on.

        A greeting.

      2.    Manuel said

Sebas, it's more like a semi-thetered jail, if you turn off the cell the jail disappears but just start the pangu app that is installed to make it work again

Hi, Pablo. I just did the Jailbreak with this utility and well the good news is that there were no problems in the installation process. The bad news is that many tweeks don't work.

someone has problems with the App Store? it doesn't load me… thank you!

  10.   Jony said

no matter how much I restore, my App Store has stopped working, has it happened to you?

  11.   mervin16 said

    Jony
I am on IOS 10 and the app store does not load me either so I suppose it will be something from Apple.
and my coworker is the same.

Thank you very much for the tip, I was worried.

Jailbreak working perfectly !!! no problems or strange stories …… only when restarting I click on the app doing the procedure and voila !!! I also like it better like that, jijiji because if I want to restore the iPhone or something, it lets me restore it from the factory before the other jailbreak did not let me and without uploading the IOS version, so I highly recommend this jailbreak. Going on from putting the other one, if one thing suits you… .. better not to change it !!!

    1.    Paul Aparicio said

Hello, Neron. Honestly, it seems better to me too, but I think Pangu has done it wrong. Let me explain: on the one hand, it seems like a fucking idea that we can choose whether to use the jailbreak or not. Really, it seems to me. But the jailbreak should not go away when restarting the device, if not they would have to add the option, that is, do it just the opposite: when we turn off the device it remains and if we want to "remove the jailbreak", we do it by tapping on the icon. I do not know if I explain myself.

That they have done it this way makes us think that everything they tell us is not true and what they have achieved is a kind of semi-tethered jailbreak.

      A greeting.

  13.   Nero said

Totally agree Pablo, thank you for all the work you do, which is not small.

  14.   Manuel said

Well, I downloaded the tool three times, with the first two it gave me the error of "xxxxx has stopped working" and it closed, with the third it did not even open the tool, with all three I tried to open them as administrator and nothing. suggestion?

Ummmmmmm, one thing that is not cool at all and less coming from the Chinese is that you have to put your Apple ID… ..the best thing is to create one specifically for the jailbreak and then put ours ,,, another thing is that I have seen that a jailbreak type jailbreakme has come out on the iosem.us website and there you don't have to put the Apple id,… .it will install the 25pp app directly to perform the jailbreak without a pc and WITHOUT GIVING THE APPLE ID

A few hours ago I did the jalibreak without a pc and it works for me 100%

    1.    gaxilongas said

I did the jailbreak from the Windows tool and if the option to put the apple ID came out but I did not put it, I simply continued with the whole procedure without putting the Apple ID. Greetings.

I just tried it on the web that you say about iosem.us and negative error 522 comes out and does not allow anything to do, you will tell us if you do not care how you did it, thanks a greeting

A question does anyone know why the localization does not work after the jailbreak?

    1.    gerardoc said

The same thing happens to me, because the GPS stops working after the jailbreak, it is worth mentioning that I did it from Safari.

      Thank you.

Hello guys, I have done the jalibreak on both a 9.3.2 device and another 9.3.3 and I had no problem other than the first time the next day I opened the cydia and it closes by itself but the solution is to give the pangu icon As explained in the tutorial videos and it is solved, it only usually happens the first time to me at the moment it has not given me that error anymore and it has been almost two weeks since I did it, another thing I read above is when it does not connect to the AppStore and It's easy, you just have to go to settings, go down to the iTunes store and App Store, close the section and start it again and that's it, it's solved, for now I'm delighted because I had been using IOS 8 for about two years and I didn't want to go up for fear of losing the jalibr ..I have and use applications daily that are not in the AppStore and that I need yes or yes and as for the GPS I have not had that error either but I suppose there will be some tweek in cydia surely, ✌ good luck to all and greetings ...
