OpenNotifier already compatible with iOS 7 in beta phase

OpenNotifier-1

Undoubtedly many of us are waiting for OpenNotifier to be updated to iOS 7. The tweak that adds icons to the status bar showing those notifications that we have pending is one of the essential for most of us who do Jailbreak. Another developer has taken the original tweak and modified it to work on iOS 7, and although it is in beta and still has some bugs, tweak works fine on springboard and lockscreen, so it does its job. We explain how to install and configure it to see our pending notifications in the status bar.

OpenNotifier-2

The first thing to do is add the following repository to Cydia: http://www.tateu.net/repo/. In it we can find the tweak in beta phase. Once installed, we must go to the System Settings and configure it correctly. Before this, it is advisable to install an icon pack from those available in Cydia. They are many and most of them free. I have installed "Stock for Open Notifier" that you can find in the ModMyi repo. To add icons to the notifications of the applications we must access the «Apps» menu within the OpenNotifier configuration. There we will see a list with all the applications installed on our device, both native and from the App Store. Select the one you want, and then choose the notification icon you want to appear. You can also choose the alignment of the icon in the status bar.

Every time you receive a notification, you will see the icon appear in the status bar. Although it still has some bugs that are being difficult to correct, such as icons don't appear when you have an app from the App Store, or when you have Mail or Safari open. These bugs won't be fixed until another tweak, libstatusbar, is updated.

And since it is for you to jump on the lock screen, it does not appear when the device is on the lock screen

It tells me that it depends on Applist 1.5.7 (not the one in cydia) and libstatusbar 0.9.7.0 is not in cydia… well….

People, after 8 years using different apple devices yesterday I decided to jailbreak, the truth opened my head to a new world ...
for the same reason and as a good newbie, I have no idea how to add the famous repository. If some good citizen of the world gives me a grateful hand I will be.
Greetings and thank you very much for all the data you share in this community.
