OPlayer, a complete video player for your iPhone

Currently, in the App Store we find dozens of applications that allow us to play any video format on our iOS devices. One of the more complete is OPlayer, an app with which we can play a video that we have stored, that is hosted on a server and even gives us the possibility of watching series or movies in streaming.

To view a video that we have on our computer, all we have to do is open iTunes and go to the Applications section. At the bottom, where we will see the OPlayer option, we can drag the file directly. It is not necessary that our iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad be connected via USB to the computer, since it is can sync via Wifi, although the file transfer will be done faster if we use the cable.

If you want to enjoy a series on your television screen, simply connect the iPad to the TV via the HDMI cable and use the OPlayer browser to watch the series without interruptions in streaming. In this way you can enjoy the content of those television websites in which full episodes are published.

The application has been recently updated by adding stand with iPhone 5 screen, wide mode support, and other options that improve subtitle sync and television viewing.

Update: this latest version seems to be causing problems with the sound reproduction of the videos, according to some users. It works for us normally.

OPlayer is the iPhone version and it is available in the App Store for 2,69 euros. The version optimized for iPad It costs 4,49 euros.

All these players in the AppStore, since they do not support AC3, are not worth a chestnut.

I want the jail to come out to put the XBMC

in the free application of Oplayer (lite) I load a video it looks good but you can't hear anything….
    I don't know if it's a problem with the free version….

This player has declined a lot since it does not accept the AC3 sound codec that is the most used by the movies we see. I use the CineXplayer Hd which plays everything and is cheaper.

I bought it and it doesn't play the audio of even half the movies I've tried.

For me this app is a dark chestnut until they update and the audio is heard.

(What good is it to me if not?)
