We are in full WWDC15 Keynote, the most important presentation at Apple's software level. A Keynote in which we wait for the typical updates of the company's operating systems, and as usual, Apple has just presented what will be the company's next operating system for Macs: OS X El Capitan.
OSX El Capitan is an operating system focused on improving the user experience, and it is that they themselves are aware that they have to fix all the problems that Yosemite users have encountered, an operating system adopted by 55% of users compared to the low 8% adoption of Windows 8. Let's see what's new that bring us in OS X El Capitan.
Now for example we can locate the cursor with quick mouse movements, but undoubtedly one of the most interesting improvements is the management of improved windows in the new Mission Control, is now much easier to group any window and move them to any of our desks, we can also locate multiple screens on our desk easily (as we can see in the previous screenshot). In Safari we fix tabs, and know where the annoying sound that is being reproduced is coming from ...
Up to 2% faster than previous version of OSX, these improvements are supported thanks to the arrival of technology Metal on MAC (one of the graphical novelties of the past iOS 8), with this technology the graphical performance will be increased significantly. Until 8 times faster we will find the Adobe apps (Premiere, After Effects…) thanks to Metal (I'm already crossing my fingers that this is true…).
OSX El Capitan is available to developers starting today, in public beta from July, and the final version will be available next fall for free.
2% faster? As little?
Captain?? Seriously?. It is seen a lot of nonsense, but this is ridiculous!
Metal? They couldn't find another name less close to Material ..? As always, Apple selling smoke.
