With each new presentation of devices, the guys from Cupertino have to begin to show some of the novelties that come from the hand of the new products. The best way to do it is updating some of the applications that currently offers us through the App Store.
iMovie has just been updated adding an interesting function that allows us to show a preview of the video while we edit them and the device is connected to a monitor. But it is not the only application that has been updated, since both iWork (Pages, Numbers and Keynote) and GarageBand, have also received their corresponding updates, although not as striking as iMovie.
The main novelty that we find in the update of GarageBand for iOS allows us use keyboard commands when using the smart keyboard or a compatible bluetooth keyboard. In addition, the Wah effects pedal and face controls are also added to Smart Guitar. The guys from Cupertino have taken the opportunity to improve the stability of the application as well as to correct a few errors that had been detected since the launch of the previous update.
The other novelty that Pages offers us is to be found in the possibility to publish our books directly on Apple Books, without having to use the iBooks Author application for Mac, an application with which we can create iBooks with any type of content, be it interactive with videos and audio or only with images and text.
The rest of the applications that are part of iWork, Numbers and Keynote, have only received improvements in stability and in the performance that they offered us, without including any important novelty to highlight. All applications that they are part of iWork, just like GarageBand they are available for download free of charge.
