Pangu is updated to avoid overheating on 32-bit devices

Pangu

If you have jailbroken your iOS 8 device using Pangu you may have noticed a increase in temperature since then. This is a problem known to Saurik and the Pangu team and apparently only affects devices with a 32-bit processor, that is, the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 4s, iPod Touch 5g and other iPads that do not have a 64-bit architecture on its SoC.

It is clear that this is a problem that needs to be fixed as soon as possible as the phone heats up because in reality, it is making intensive use of the processor and due to a domino effect, the battery lasts much less. Fortunately, we already have one Pangu update that fixes this bug.

To download the update, you have to access Cydia and within it, click on the Changes section. There you will see the update to version 0.3 of Pangu 8.0-8.1.x Untether. Once installed, it is necessary to restart the device for the changes to take effect and check that the operation is now adequate, without unnecessary heating that reduces autonomy and can raise the temperature of the terminal too much.

It should be noted that initially, this update caused problems on devices with a 64-bit processor, so Saurik decided to remove it from Cydia until a solution was found. Now it is online again so its operation should now be adequate on any iPhone or iPad, whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit. In any case, tell us about your experience in the comments to see if the heating problems.

Hi, I want to jailbreak the iPhone 6 plus but I don't trust pangu much, do you know if it's the same as Evasi0n? Is it safe ??… the Chinese eat, the Chinese eat us .. !!

When you ask if Pangu is safe, do you know the creators of Evasion firsthand? Pangu on iOS7 has been around for over a year now, and I haven't heard any problems. On the same Evad3rs page you have Pangu Jailbreak.

Yes, when we ask about pangu, it is because we have been jailbreaking our iPhones for many years, always with people who have dedicated themselves to this since its inception. And not because of some chinorris who jailbroken iOS 7 and not even their father knows them.

The last jailbreak I have done on my ipad air in version 7.0.6, the last one made by the Evasi0n team and I never update it precisely because of that, because the following ones have been made by pangu and I did not trust them, that simple. I have already read that they add spyware that violates all our information. Even on my iMac, while I had your application installed, it gave me a series of performance problems that they solved when I uninstalled it; hence I did not trust them at all, for me they are not to be trusted.

If you don't trust it, don't jailbreak pangu period. Those chinorrillos that not even their father knows who they are, are the ones that are beginning to sound in the world of iOS and will continue to sound. Privacy I personally don't believe in anyone, because in the digital age I don't think we have much privacy.

You are right, just to say that I have not said it with bad intention or with the purpose of disqualifying anyone, I only meant that a large part of the vulnerability of current software is done by Chinese hackers and in most cases it is to obtain benefits from illicitly not altruistically as the iOS jailbreak scene has always done.

It's true Cesar, my boy. When I was writing I was thinking about the iPhone 5c and by inertia I wrote iPhone 5s. It is already corrected. Greetings and thanks for the warning.

Nacho. I know it is not appropriate but I sent you an email a few days ago this week. Could you tell me if they received it? Greetings from Argentina from a Peruvian follower.

I do not understand how it works for you, I have carried out the jailbreak process with ios8.1 and pangu, from the different versions, and with ipad mini and iphone5s and iphone6 and in all cases, whatever it does, when restarting it stays in the apple and I can only restore it. I've been doing jailbreak for years, and with this there is no way, it does the same thing in the 3 devices that I have, everything works correctly, but if I turn off and on again the device remains blocked in the apple, and if I start it in safe mode, does not start. Let's see if the final version comes out to carry out the process safely

Incredible that there are people who still do the "jailbreak" to the devices, with the security problems that this brings. While Apple strives to offer robustness, users are quick to destroy it, to make their devices look like Android, or not to pay for applications. Shameful and regrettable.

What I think is incredible is that you have to come here to create bad vibes with your comment, if you are not in favor of the jailbreak, do not do it and period ...

I advise people, who do not seem to know what they put in their devices.
