Pangu updates its jailbreak tool to iOS 9.1

Pangu9

Pangu has launched a few minutes ago an update of its tool to make the jailbreak to 64-bit iOS devices that have installed iOS 9.0-9.1. At this time they have not yet updated the page where they include the list of changes, but according to what they have published on Twitter, this new version will improve the success rate when starting the device after doing the Jailbreak, for which it will be trying to start until it succeeds.

The tool is now available on the Pangu page and is the version v1.3.1 for Windows and v1.1.1 for Mac, but both are the same. The Windows version has a higher numbering because, as usual in these cases, the first versions of Pangu9 were released only for the Microsoft operating system. On the other hand, as they are different operating systems, it is possible that one of the versions works better than the other or presents fewer problems.

What's new in Pangu9 v1.3.1

  • Makes iOS 9.1 untether more stable

Users who have already Jailbroken with the previous version of this tool must update the package from Cydia. Pangu warns that the kernel problem is still present, but that, as mentioned above, it will try to start until it manages to enter the lock screen. Although it has not been released as soon as on other occasions, it could be said that this update comes only so that users who do the Jailbreak with this tool have less problems. I remember that evad3rs also had similar problems with one of the evasi0n versions and they needed to release several updates until the device startup was successful.

If you have not done the Jailbreak yet and you are considering it, you just have to read our article Tutorial to jailbreak iOS 9.0-9.0.2 which is also valid for this new jailbreak for 64-bit devices with iOS 9.1.

Thanks for recommending that we upgrade to 9.2.1 a few months ago. It would not be bad either an article of those that you spend sometimes to apologize or something similar since many of us have run out of jailbreak for trusting you.

Hi, Gracilian. Do you mean this one? https://www.actualidadiphone.com/pangu-recomienda-actualizar-a-ios-9-2-1/

The headline says that it is Pangu who recommends it.

      A greeting.

I have made the Jailbreak with the version of iOS 9.1 and it has worked halfway, since the cydia closes every time I try to open it.
