PatternUnlock: Unlock your iOS with the Android pattern (Cydia)

PatternUnlock-1

We bring you another new tweak from developer's cydia Jonas gessner called PatternUnlock. It is only compatible with the iOS 6.xx.

Not the first cydia tweak to emulate the Android unlock pattern on iOS but this is perhaps the best. Other cydia tweaks such as AndroidLockXT can boast of being the first tweak to appear as an Android unlock pattern, and others can boast of bringing many more customization options.

However according to some comments that I have been able to read on the net, many users prefer PatternUnlock awarded by the ease of use, its design adapted to iOS. This tweak integrates with iOS in such a way that it seems that it is already implemented as standard in the system, not like other tweak that remain disjointed from the system or do not get to sit well at all and it shows that it is something external to the system of our device.

PatternUnlock-2

The first thing that will catch our attention is its configuration. PatternUnlock preferences appear in a logical and easy-to-follow manner. For example, the first option is to activate and deactivate the pattern, just below we have the option to change the pattern.

As with the lock code from iOS we can set the pattern to be requested immediately after locking the device or it can be programmed so that it activates in an interval of 1, 2, 5 or 15 minutes or also in intervals of 1, 2 or 4 hours after blocking the device.

It has some settings to enable or disable the vibration when touching the device, there are also two sliders to adjust the duration and intensity of the vibration.

This tweak brings some additional features as for example, the possibility of enabling an options bar to access the emergency call button and a option to activate device lock mode when there are too many incorrect unlocking attempts.

PatternUnlock has 5 different themes installed and includes documentation so you can create your own themes yourself.

You can find this new Tweak in the repository of BigBoss for the modest price 1,99 Dollars.

    Hello

I bought and installed it yesterday. At the moment I do not notice anything at the battery level. A normal day of work, Mail, calls, etc and at the moment the same as if the.

As an anecdote, yesterday I tried several patterns and in the end I did not remember which one I had put ... Crisis moment.

Finally rebooted in DFU mode, uninstalled and everything to normal.

I installed again and started again, it kept asking me for the pattern that I did not remember.

New DFU restart and with iFiles I modified a configuration XML:

    - de.j.gessner.patternunlock.plist

    False

    GracePeriod
    0
    Theme
    / var / mobile / Library / PatternUnlock / Themes / One
    Touchpoint

With this, the old pattern code was eliminated and I configured another one that I do remember 😛

Tell them that this is not necessary to deactivate the PatternUnlock. If you don't remember, you just have to press a button shaped like a numeric keypad to ask for the classic iPhone unlock PIN and run ... Only if you want to recover the PatternUnlock to activate it again, you must do what I tell

    Greetings.
