How to pay at gas stations with your iPhone

Apple Pay arrived a few weeks ago to facilitate mobile payments. But it is not the only payment system that can be used with the iPhone, and more and more companies are using alternative methods to pay for their products from our iPhone, without having to carry the cards or endure queues at the counter waiting that they charge us. Gas stations are some of the places where this payment method is becoming more prevalent, and there are already several companies that have their own app to make payments from the iPhone..

Comfortable and simple

What are the advantages of this payment system? If we look at the traditional payment system, we save ourselves having to carry cash with us, or having to fill our portfolio with different credit cards, loyalty cards and the like. But even if you look at Apple Pay, this payment method is even more convenient, because we don't even have to get out of the car to pay (well, to put the gasoline yes).

The operation is very simple, you just have to register for their service with the typical email data and little else. Once registered We must add a valid payment method, and we will have the application configured to be used every time we need it.

All the applications work in a very similar way to the one shown in the video: we arrive at the gas station, choose a pump, indicate the amount and pay. Now we only need to fill the deposit with the amount that we have indicated and we can leave without having to go to the checkout, because the payment will be made using the card that we configure in the application.

Repsol, Cepsa and Carrefour, but more will arrive

At the moment the applications that we have found that allow us to make this payment from the mobile are three: PaymentClick Repsol, Cepsa Pay and Mi Carrefour. But we have no doubt that new applications will be added shortly that will allow these payments from the mobile. Here are the download links for the iPhone applications.
