Personal access point is not working well but the solution is on the way

The "Personal Access Point" function is the solution for many when sharing the internet from your iPhone au iPad or Mac, but for a while it has not worked as it should. Apple already knows about the problem and the solution could come as soon as with the update to iOS 13.4.

Sharing the internet from our iPhone has been possible for years. If you are away from home and want to use the internet connection with your iPad or Mac, using the iPhone as a «router» is possible very easily. Your children can continue playing Fortnite during the car trip or watch their favorite movies, using the internet connection (and consuming a lot of battery) of your iPhone. With iOS 13, Apple also introduced an improvement that allows any device with the same iCloud account to connect "automatically" to your iPhone if you need internet and there is no WiFi available. You can also authorize connections from those devices that belong to your family without having to enter the password, just authorize the connection from your iPhone.

However, since iOS 13.1.2 many users are complaining that this feature does not work as it should. Your devices do not connect automatically, or disconnect without apparent cause, even the connection speed is extremely slow despite having good coverage on the iPhone. Users have contacted the help of Apple, who at the moment tell them that the solution is to restart the functionn (turn on and off from settings). But they have also been told that the problem has already been communicated to Apple and that the solution is already on the way. We hope that iOS 13.4 will arrive next week with the new mouse and trackpad support, and perhaps with the solution to this problem that is being really annoying for many users.

I have been with my pro max for three months and I have this problem and it is disgusting. I connect the Ipad Air 2019 and it automatically disconnects if I turn it off. In the end I see myself using a Chinese android phone (A Leeco LeMax from 3 or 4 years ago for € 140, in its day) to use this untilidad…. Pretty embarrassing on Apple's part.

Turn on and off to connect, we have been doing it since we can share the internet on the iphone many years ago. I don't think so that it connects so easily without problems with the next update.
I don't know what black hand is behind this story, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has to do this PARIPÉ every time.

Well it's unfortunate, even with the latest update, it does exactly the same. I have been an apple user, I went to Samsung, my last one was a j6, I made the leap thinking that I would have a cell phone cucumber, 11 pro max 516 and see this failure ... with a mobile worth that money ... I think I do not peak more ...

    What a clutter of iphone.
It's incredible, I've been waiting months for them to fix something basic to share the Internet on vacation, and nothing. And I already have version 13.6.1
    How Apple is getting worse.
Before they were good, now every generation of iphone is worse
