The main competitor of FIFA, although for some it stopped being it a long time ago, Pro Evolution Soccer (PES for friends) has received a major update in its version for iOS, an update available in the graphics engine, going from Unregal Engine 3 to Unreal Engine 4.
This update offers us various visual improvements, with which the lovers of this game will enjoy their matches even more. This update comes after Konami has announced its plans for invest more in the PES franchise, in order to try to become an alternative to the almighty FIFA and its Pro Clubs function.
FIFA allows users to purchase real money player packs in order to create the best team. Although the coins to buy these packs can be obtained through regular play, the time required is incredibly long, prompting players to invest real money. If Konami wants to follow the same path, everything seems to indicate that either the gaming methodology it offers changes, like FIFA, or in the end it will be the European Union that does it, as governments such as the Chinese and the Belgian have already done, where envelopes or chests in exchange for money are prohibited in games.
Leaving aside the path that FIFA follows and that apparently PES wants to continue, the PES 2019 update add 12 pounds of football new ones that are sure to improve the overall gaming experience, as FIFA is licensed by the major leagues around the world, including the Premier League and the Spanish League.
According to the developer, in future updates they will continue to increase the number of available legends. Some of the legends that are available in the game with David Beckham, Ronaldinho and Johan Cruyff among many others. PES 2019 is available for download completely free of charge through the link that I leave at the end of this article.
In general, this update has improved the gameplay a lot, but in my case, when playing I experienced an excessive consumption of the battery of my phone, an iPhone 6s Plus. Has anyone else suffered the same or will I be an isolated case?
In my case, like Josue, I have experienced excessive battery consumption.
But for me the gameplay is good, in a way more realistic. Something that I think they should solve is the defense, it is extremely bad, the players take too long to react to an opponent's pass, they do not move from their position resulting in a clear goal chance for the opponent.
Something that I would like to know from the other players is that if they get the option to buy the new objects for managers and players with which they can improve the position and add a new ability to a player or if they know if these objects will be given by winning some kind of tournament or match.
Oh, and also if they can negotiate the players they already have for new ones since the option to "negotiate" is not enabled for me, it is there but it seems that I do not have it available, however I have seen videos of people from other countries where they can negotiate and get good players.
I think Konami has work to do to solve all these problems, I hope they release an update that solves all the problems that Pes 2019 is presenting.
