Photokeys: create your own custom keyboard

photokeys

Would you like to have a much more colorful keyboard? Photokeys will allow you to have a full color keyboard so you don't always have to use the default black or white keyboard. We just have to take a photo or choose it from the reel, import it, adjust the color palette and we will have a keyboard from the colors of the selected image.

What Photokeys does to create a keyboard is analyze the colors in the image we have provided and create a keyboard from these colors. If we do not like what we have obtained, always we can change the intensity of the colors manually. The possibilities are endless. We just have to look around us to realize it.

What Photokeys offers us

  • Use photo colors to modify buttons, background, and text.
  • Unlimited color combinations, each keyboard is truly unique.
  • The 100 best Emoji are accessible directly from the keyboard.
  • Quick color adjustment: tap to choose your color tone before taking a photo.
  • Take a photo or import it from your library.
  • Auto-correction and predictive text.
  • Change the way you use your keyboard with just a few taps!

We also have the option to tell you three kinds of color intensity for moments when we want a more striking color, softer or something in between. On the other hand, we have the possibility to name our themes in case we create many and we want to have them controlled.

To activate Photokeys, as with any other third-party keyboard, we have to go to Settings / General / Keyboard / Keyboards / Add new keyboard ..., add Photokeys and give it full access. The developer ensures that they will not save any information ensuring that this is only to improve the predictive keyboard.

Photokeys is an application that requires iOS 8.0 or later, compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, is optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and is priced at € 0,99.

A question ... I read that there is a black keyboard by default ... How can I enable it? I have not seen that option….

Hi, Boris. There is no black or white keyboard of our choice. The keyboard changes color according to the application we are running. In Safari, for example, it is white. In tweetbot, Gray (black).
