One of the most interesting novelties that will arrive together with iOS 10 and macOS Sierra, which was even part of the 0 points of Apple's mobile operating system that they spoke about at WWDC10, will be the new Photos applications of both operating systems. From the next versions, Photos It will include facial recognition, but not like the one we already used in iPhoto, if not a system that will be able to recognize facial expressions and objects to make it easier for us to find the photos we are looking for.
Developer Kay Yin has published that the facial recognition system in the Photos app in iOS 10 and macOS Sierra is capable of recognize up to seven facial expressions which you have described as Gluttonous (perhaps puffed-cheeked), Disgusted, Neutral, Screaming, Smiling, Surprised, and Distrustful. On the other hand, you can search for photos that include one of the 4.432 objects it can recognize the new application Photos, which must be recognized that it is not bad for a first version.

What remains to be known is how the technology used in the new memories will work and whether or not it is reliable. Being in a first beta we still can't say too much. When the official version is released we will know if it works as Apple expects.
