Seven days have passed again, so Apple has already renewed its promotion of the weekly app. This time, the app of the week is a game. I can tell you that. Is about Pilot, where we will have to play the role of an inventor (I suppose she is, since she wears boots with heels) who has designed a jetpack, or what is the same, propellants that are put on the back to fly. What is there to do in Piloteer? I'm honestly not sure yet.
As soon as I saw that there was a new application of the week, I have decided to try it to share it with all of you. As I started to play, I felt a bit frustrated, something like what I felt when I tried Flappy Bird for the first time. What we have to do is control the flight of our intrepid protagonist, not without first giving her a name. I have to confess that to use a nick Normally I have come to call my protagonist «Torpeteer», alluding to how clumsy he is on his flights.
The theory to control the Piloteer invention is very simple. If we press on the right, the character will fly backwards / upwards. If we touch on the left, it will fly forward / up. The problem comes when we want to put theory into practice. For me it has been easier to jump headfirst into one of the ponds than to fly properly.
In the first level, that of the park, there is a point where we see a horizontal "S" with an arrow on its right side. I imagine that what we have to do is the shape of the «S» to be able to pass the level. I cannot assure you because I have not succeeded, so I have not seen anything other than Torpeteer having accidents. Every now and then it even pops up as a news headline saying 'people worry about Torpeteer accidents. Are Jetpacks safe?»To which I would answer that no, not even in dreams, at least that of my character.
Logically, on a gift horse we do not have to look at his tooth. It is best to download the game taking advantage of the offer weekly. Who knows? With the necessary practice it could turn into a good game, although I doubt it. At least, playing a few minutes we will get enough points in Game Center. If you have tried it, what do you think of Piloteer?
