PIP Camera, an app to give our photos a different touch

If you are in some social network type Instagram I imagine that you have seen that many people use other applications to generate effects on your photos, and perhaps one of the most innovative of the last is PIP Camera, which we are going to see today.

The term "PIP" may sound familiar to you from your televisions, as it refers to "Picture in picture" or, in Spanish, that function that allows us to watch one channel with another in the background thanks to the double tuner. In the case of the app it has nothing to do with television, but the concept is the same since we will put one photograph within another.

The process

From the moment we take a photograph -or load it from the gallery of saved photos- it can take less than 10 seconds to reach the end of the process, although logically if we want to think a little more about the appearance of the final photograph we will need several minutes to go testing the different proposals of the application.

In the first part we will have to choose the PIP effect, being able to choose between holding the photo with a clamp, showing it as if we were taking the photo with the iPad and other curious effects that give a lot of play. Once we have passed this first phase, we have to go to the most «Instagram» part, since we have different filters to give a final touch to the photograph before sharing it on social networks or simply saving it for our private use.

Conclusion

Of the many applications in the App Store to make photo effects, this is undoubtedly one of the most interesting. It differs a bit from the typical concept of ornaments and frames, It works quite smoothly and it looks like it has a good support behind it that will update it with new effects as time goes by, something necessary if they want to maintain the loyalty of the users and the good opinions of the specialized critics.

If I had to lean towards one aspect to improve, I would definitely choose design of the application, which with a few tweaks could improve substantially.
