In recent years, Pixelmator has become a fundamental tool for many users to be able to modify their favorite captures on the fly, as long as they do not need professional retouching. The Pixelmator team has taken advantage of this update to optimize application performance and add small functions, without finding any that stand out especially. In addition, they have taken the opportunity to solve the different problems that the application offered when storing or synchronizing the images on the reel, problems that caused the application to close for no apparent reason.
What's new in Pixelmator update
- New aspect ratios available through the crop tool, which allows us to keep the aspect ratio.
- The issue with thumbnails displaying gray has been fixed.
- The waiting time when clicking on a layer for the drag and drop function to activate has been increased.
- The undo button has been moved slightly to the right to avoid accidentally exiting to the gallery.
- When you save a copy of an image in the Photos application, the original format will be preserved.
- Save to Photos is no longer shown as an option if the imported image was created on another device, so we won't be able to overwrite it.
Pixelmator is compatible with the Apple Pencil in addition to another stylus, it has a price in the App Store of 5,49 euros, although from time to time we can find it at half price, as it is during these days.
