I have found it curious and funny a joke they played on me this afternoon, using Apple's instant messaging service, iMessage. All users of iOS devices have access to this service (when it works correctly), and if you have ever used it, you will have noticed that when someone is writing, an animated image appears with three dots indicating it. Using an animated gif that mimics it, you can leave your friends waiting for a message forever.
You can download the gif from the page «Mischief«, For which you must press and hold on the animated image and when the menu appears, select« Save image ». Once on your reel, you just have to send it through iMessage to your contacts who have iPhone or iPad, although the result is much better on the iPhone, since on the iPad it is too big and you can tell that there is something strange from the first moment. The recipient will receive the notification that an image has been sent to them, and when they open iMessage they will see the gif, and they will think that you are still writing, and so they can stay forever.
iMessage is precisely one of the Apple services that is having the most problems Lately, especially with the arrival of iOS 7. Many of us who update to the latest version have had to resort to one of the following solutions to make it work correctly: restart the device, and if this does not work, follow these steps:
- Disable iMessage (within Settings> Messages)
- Reset the network settings (within Settings> General> Reset)
- Activate iMessage again (again go to Settings> Messages)
After these steps, you should have no problem using the service. Remember that iMessage is similar to others, such as WhatsApp or Line, but that it is exclusively for users of Apple products, whether with iOS or OS X.
