In a world where all companies want to play a leading role in our Smartphone in the form of an instant messaging application, we find Sony PlayStation, which obviously did not want to lose its share of the cake. The PlayStation application has become one more social network, and it is through it we manage our connections to Ps4, make purchases and communicate with our friends to play the console. Sony knows that well, which is why it has decided to copy the absurd movement of Facebook to eliminate the chat of its application to create an individual application. I dare to call this application useless and throughout the article I am going to tell you why.
With nocturnal and treacherousness, this is how this application reached the App Store all over the world tonight and just a few hours ago. But don't expect it to be a simple promotion or to be optional. Taking advantage of yet another inert update to the already deficient PlayStation application, in which they have done nothing more than renew the logo, leaving behind the year 2012 to reach 2015 with a flat design in solid colors. There the update stays, it seems that the guys at Sony have a very difficult time adapting the resolution of their most popular application to the screens of the iPhone 6, they are on the way for a year and a half like that.
And voila, we enter the application and we find a notification in the "messages" that "invites" us to download their new PlayStation Messages application to keep in touch with our friends. That's right guys yet another inert messaging application that we will have no choice but to install, because the messages are already inaccessible. All this has a rather ironic point, and that is that the PlayStation messaging application is adapted to the iPhone 6 screen, which makes us want to laugh, or cry.
And what can you do from this new messaging application? Well, exactly the same as from the "messages" section of the PlayStation application. The application has a marked origin, since the lag and slowness seem things inherited from the previous application. Surprisingly we must emphasize the fact that the PlayStation application has not improved performance at all either. Here is the justification that this move by Sony has been clearly useless. We will remain alert for updates that make sense of this misery. For us players!
