To try to continue promoting the use of this app, both Nintendo and Niantic have organized different events throughout the world, events that have been relatively successful, logical considering the time that has passed since its launch and that the current hype is focused on other themes.
Niantic has just released a new update for Pokémon GO, an update that stands out for two things. On the one hand, it offers us compatibility with the screen of the new iPhone X. On the other hand, we find that the support that until now offered for iOS 8 devices has completely disappeared, requiring that the compatible device to be able to enjoy the game, and continue hunting Pokémons, is managed by iOS 9 or higher. These are the main novelties offered by the latest update of this application, an update that has also improved loading times.
In addition to improving the loading time, the guys at Niantic, has also resolved a bug that caused the error banners to stay on until we restarted the application. Another of the errors that have been fixed in this latest update, we found it in the one that prevented the trainers from giving more power to the Pokémon for their maximum CP. Niantic has taken advantage of this update to solve the small bugs in addition to focusing on improving the performance of the application on older devices, which is currently the iPhone 4s, whose last version of iOS it received was number 9.
