With the passage of time the fury for Pokémon GO is decreasing although it is still in force in a large part of the young sector of European and American countries. Niantic has decided to continue investing time in an application that revolutionized the whole world the last summer including improvements with each update.
In this case Pokémon GO has been updated with improvements and slight changes in the different functionalities, correcting errors that could annoy users. They are actually necessary updates that make it clear that Niantic is working on improving the application so that users loyal to the adventure continue to be hooked on the search for pokémon.
Niantic continues to work on improving Pokémon GO
The truth is that Pokémon GO has been getting a ton of updates in recent months with a major redesign of the concept of gyms and battles, now known as Raid Battles. Much of these news were released to the headlines of websites dedicated to video games and the truth is that users have appreciated this change.
New pokémon have also been included including Legendary Pokémon that rotate weekly through the different regions of the world in order to provide the same opportunities to all players in the world. The new update that we talked about in the introduction of this article is the version 1.4.5.0 available in the App Store, with the following features:
- Items received by spinning Gym PokéStops and completing Raids are now displayed in the Journal.
- Improved search functionality on the Pokémon Collection screen by allowing Trainers to search using "defender" and "legendary".
- Resolved a bug that caused Pikachu's hats to disappear from the game's model and icon.
- Resolved a bug that caused some icons to disappear when scrolling through the Pokédex.
- Various bug fixes and performance updates.
