Mac OS X and Windows users are probably familiar with the Popcorn Time application. Also known as pirate Netflix, for those who do not know it, it is one of the best known applications to watch movies and series in streaming. Available on the main platforms (Android, Mac, Windows) iOS restrictions do not allow it to be available on this platform, leaving Cydia as the only resource. But things seem like they are going to change starting today, because thanks to iOS Installer, this and many other applications could reach iOS.
iOS Installer is an application that will be released today, available for Windows at the moment (although the version for Mac OS X will arrive in a couple of weeks) and that will allow to bypass Apple's restrictions to install applications on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch without the need for them to be in the App Store. It is the perfect gateway for applications such as Popcorn Time and the famous game emulators such as GBA4iOS that give Apple so many headaches as they always find a hole through which to sneak into their devices.
We do not know more details about how iOS Installer will work, but as soon as it is available we will tell you about it and also we will carry out a detailed tutorial on its operation so that everyone who wishes can install the applications that are compatible on their device, although obviously they will have to assume all the risks that this implies as it is outside the control of Apple and its restrictions were to maintain the highest possible security in iOS. The app will be available soon (today) on the Official Site, and for now the only one we know that will take advantage of it from the beginning will be Popcorn Time.
