Pou, the virtual pet of Android makes the leap to iOS

Pou for iPad

When it seemed that the world of virtual pets had gone out of style, a developer has been able to stir the whole world with a nice application in which you have to take care of Pou, one of those beings that is not known exactly what they are but they end up being funny for their gestures and expressions.

Combining the power to care for a virtual pet with a series of de minigames in which we can participate, Pou has managed to reach the top of the App Store and Google Play. What is your secret? Let's see it.

Taking care of Pou, something that won't take you long

Pou's care is the basic one that must be applied to any pet, that is, feed it, keep it happy, clean and energetic. In the Pou application, there will be different rooms for each of these tasks. Pou is not fickle and requires minimal maintenance It will only take us a couple of minutes each day, although if we want to progress in the game, we have to dedicate more time to it.

To encourage daily participation in the game, the developer has included a number of minigames that, by themselves, have been a success in the App Store. Reaching as high as possible, memorizing chains of sounds or taking as much food as possible are some of the examples that we will find in the living room to play with Pou.

Pou for iPhone

Doing this is a good way to get coins, a very precious object since it is the one you will use in the store to buy your pet food, potions or objects of personalization such as clothes, hats, wallpapers, suits and many more accessories. Other Pou users will be able to visit yours and vice versa, so if you manage to create a striking Pou, you will reach the top of the popularity ranking.

Similar to Android but not the same, for now.

The downside Pou for iOS is that it has not been well adapted. The first version of the game has been a complete disaster and the second, has substantially improved the game but still has incomprehensible flaws such as a very pixelated interface. Hopefully they will soon solve these bugs with more updates that compensate users who have paid the 1,79 euros while on Android it is free.
