We already have a new app of the week, although with the majority being games we could call the weekly App Store promotion "the game of the week." This time, the game is called Power Hover, a title in which we will have to control a robot on top of their hoverboard to recover the energy that has been stolen from their community and without which they cannot survive.
Power Hover is a kind of runner, but more similar to Temple Run than Rayman's, that is, vertically and not horizontally. Along the way, in addition to having to collect the batteries, we will find ramps, pipes and a lot of obstacles that we will have to overcome in order to reach the end of the level and move on to the next. Logically, it is easy that the first times we go through each level we run into one of those obstacles a couple of times, as you can see in the following video.
Power Hover, interesting runner that improves at each level
Can't say that Power Hover's graphics are the best, but it's part of what the game developers wanted to do. And, as I always say, a game has to amuse, entertain, challenge us and not show us good graphics that offer little gameplay and a lot of "movie".
Perhaps one of the strengths of Power Hover is his story. Unlike other famous games in which we only have to control the protagonist level after level, in this week's application we will reveal details of a story that will catch us and make us want to continue playing.
In any case, the best we can do is download the game now that it is free for seven days, link it to our Apple ID and then decide whether to leave it installed or not. I think that if you try it, you will leave it on your iPhone.
