One of the most obnoxious tasks of Cydia is to delete what we install since when we download a tweak, along with it come other extensions and / or applications that make what we have downloaded really work. When it comes to eliminating, In most cases, we only delete the tweaks themselves and not what has been installed with them. Today I present PrefDelete, a tweak that we can download in Cydia whose function is allow the user to delete tweaks from the iOS Settings, without having to enter Cydia.
Press to delete a tweak from iOS Settings with PrefDelete
Name | iOS 8 | 64 bits | Current version | Price | Repo |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Prefedlete | Si | Not tested | 1.2.0 | Free | BigBoss |
PrefDelete is available on the official BigBoss repo for free, so we will not have to spend a single euro to test this application.
Once the PrefDelete is downloaded, we will not notice in any menu that it has been installed since there is no option to configure. To check its operation it is necessary to have a tweak that has configuration options since PrefDelete only works with tweaks that have configuration options within the iOS Settings menu.
In my case, Activator, has a menu where we can change the actions of each gesture from the Settings menu. To delete a tweak from the iOS Settings I press for a few seconds on the tag of the tweak in question and a window will pop up where it tells me if I want to uninstall it or not, If we want it to disappear from our iDevice, click on "Uninstall" y later we will have to do a respring to completely eliminate the files that made up the tweak that we have deleted.
As you can see, the operation is very simple and very useful since we do not have to enter Cydia every time we want to get rid of a tweak, but the only drawback is that we can only delete those modifications that have settings to configure.
