Last month, Procreate Pocket received a major update that gave it compatibility to draw with the Apple Pencil on the iPad Pro. Today it has been updated again doing something similar, but for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. In the case of the latest smartphone from the bitten apple, Procreate Pocket has added support for the pressure recognition system known as Touch 3D, adding shortcuts on the home screen.
In addition to shortcuts, the new version of Procreate Pocket it also distinguishes the force we apply in each pressure, which will allow us to make a thicker line if we press harder or finer if the pressure is softer. This function, which can also come in handy if we use it with the finger, is especially positive for those who use a compatible stylus to draw on their iPhone because of the naturalness at the time of drawing.
In addition to 3D Touch support, Procreate Pocket now has native app for Apple Watch. With an Apple Watch that uses watchOS 2.0 we can use the Procteate Palette, which allows us to use a digital palette that works in tandem with the Procreate Pocket application on the iPhone.
The new version of Procreate Pocket also includes new gesturessuch as the ability to undo changes with a two-finger touch, redo with a three-finger touch, and switch to full screen with a four-finger touch. In addition, now Alpha Lock is accessed from the options menu and not by sliding as in the previous version. The iPad toolbar is available in landscape mode for any iPhone from iPhone 5 onwards or, what is the same, with any iPhone 4 inches or higher.
Finally, and like any application or system update, the Procreate Pocket update includes performance improvements, which in this case make the application faster, and bug fixes.
