Radar Zapper, the most complete radar warning device, is updated by adding user requests

radar zapper

We already talked to you a long time ago Radar Zapper, a complete speed camera alert for iPhone or iPad that is succeeding in the App Store not only because it will save you fines (which is very much appreciated in times of crisis), but because it has 380.000 points of interest throughout Europe, notifications, constant updates And it is also the application that consumes the least battery of all those that use GPS, you will hardly notice that it is running on your battery consumption.

Speaking of constant updates we are not only referring to the speed camera database updates, which are very important so that we are not caught, we refer to the improvements of the app itself, which has already reached version 1.4 including the improvements that users themselves have been requesting.

One of the changes that the users had requested (I include myself because I also have it) is the landscape mode, very convenient if you have a mount in the car because you normally use it to get GPS directions. Another is the Night Mode, a must not to turn your car into a flashlight when you use the app at night, and lastly (and most importantly for me) they have improved the handling of the map and the speed at which it worked. In the first version, when you were looking for gas stations or radars on your way, the map took a while to load the data, nothing frustrating, but a lack at the end of the day. Its developers have taken care of the requests and now it works much more fluently.

Radar Zapper includes data from Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, UK, Italy, Belenux, Greece, Norway, Poland, Austria, Romania, Sweden, and Switzerland. It warns of fixed, mobile, tunnel, section radars, black spots, dangerous curves, black spots, controls, etc. And everything configured to your liking, warnings, voices, distance to which you receive the notice. Also you can combine with Tomtom or WazeJust leave the application in the background and it will notify you of everything.

If there is a notice that you already know or that you don't want me to bother you every day on the way to work you can mute it. You can also see the tiempo from the app itself, handle music, etc. An essential application if you plan to travel this Easter. For very little money you can avoid the annoyance of receiving a fine.

In the case of Wikango, an advantage in my opinion is that users keep up-to-date notices in case of accidents, radars, etc. Do you know if it works the same with Zapper? You have really checked some if it is better.
    regards

Juan, we update the app directly every week with user notifications and the app is automatically updated by lowering the radars from our server, that is, it is not necessary to download the app from the AppStore to update the database, which is an advantage.

On whether it is better than the rest, well to give my opinion here would not be correct because everyone can imagine it, but what if I tell you is that the other two apps that are usually in the top of navigation together with ours are also excellent alternatives .

Well, he didn't quite do me, a couple of weeks ago I made a claim and they gave me my money back. It consumes a lot of battery and also once you turn off the alarm and close the app, the geolocation continues with its corresponding battery drain… If they have fixed it, Chapeau!

Well, that does not happen to me and it has not happened to me in previous versions.

From the comments that I see (and some that I have had to delete) it seems to me that there is competition in this field and more than one is trying to boikot, I am not expressly saying it for you ...

If someone wants to spam your application they will be banned immediately and forever.

Boycott is that you do not like the app? I downloaded it before yesterday because it was one of the most downloaded and because they comment on it in many other blogs and I see that it is rather bad. If this is spam, you know, what I think of this article and others that I have read, misleading advertising.

Boycott I mean certain deleted comments from developers praising their app that does the same ...

As you say, it is one of the most downloaded.
Everyone has their tastes, I have them all.

          Greetings.

now ... well, I have already tested it a little more thoroughly and it does not detect the direction of travel, that is, it warns you of each and every one of the radars that are in the opposite direction, so it does not work for me.

            Greetings.

Xavi C we have that very, very revised since it is an important point of these apps. To stop wasting battery, you have to stop the app by clicking on the main sphere. Another way to do it automatically is to tell it in the settings not to work in the background.

I sincerely believe that this app has many things to improve and others to correct. After downloading and testing it, I definitely have to say that I personally don't like it at all. For starters, aesthetically it is quite ugly and bland. The same thing you have the app turned on and it does not warn you of a radar as it warns you late in the next one.

In several trips that I have made in the last time I have been able to verify this.

Additionally and something that it does not do is detect the direction of travel.

I feel like it's the worst money I've invested in a long time.

I downloaded this app as a result of seeing so much publicity for it, but I have to say that instead of so much publicity you have to dedicate yourself to making a quality app and not trying to deceive people by selling smoke.

    Completely disappointed.
