I don't know about you, but I love radio, so I've always had radio applications on my iPhone and have made the most of them. I have been using the app that we are going to learn about today for some time, and I think the time has come when I can express a fully formed opinion through continued use. We talk about Radio FM Spain.
Similar is not the same
There are quite a few free and paid apps on the App Store for both world and Spanish radio, but Radio FM Spain It stands out above the rest thanks to having practically all the radios always up to date, with a very complete section of nationals and the local ones organized by provinces so that we do not waste time searching between cities that do not interest us. And iPhone 5 support, so we won't see the hated black bars.
We are also offered international radios -A very interesting app for internationals is TuneIn, but it is too chaotic for those of us who only want radios from Spain-, although it is an additional purchase chosen with good judgment since it is not exactly the preferred option for many people. Accompanying this purchase is the possibility of eliminating the small ad that is displayed at the top and also the addition of a useful timer that will allow us to go to sleep with the radio knowing that in the minutes we choose it will turn off.
A good design is always appreciated
The application has a careful design in gray tones, although I would like to highlight the great idea of the player: when we click on a radio, it automatically scrolls to the top of the screen and stays fixed, so we can always act on it by marking it as a favorite or stopping the broadcast. It also has multi-touch gestures that will help us to handle the application much faster.
Some other features are no less interesting, such as the ability to post what we are listening to on Twitter or the management of favorite radios so as not to have to search each time for the ones we like the most, another detail that will save us time and effort with the application. Of course, it also allows you to listen to the chosen radio in the background, something basic for those of us who use the iPhone a lot.
Although it still has room for improvement (for example, show the program / song that is playing) the truth is that it seems to me the best choice to listen to the radio on the iPhone for three very basic reasons: it is well designed, it is quick to use and the radios are well organized. For these cases, it is usually best to look at the reviews: when an app does not have one-star reviews and most of them are five-star for something.
OLA APP E SUPER …… BUT WHAT I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND IS THAT AT THESE HEIGHTS WE DON'T HAVE A RADIO ON THE IPHONE THING THAT THE TLF HAVE. SIMPLE TODAY
Like everyone else, it has its FM radio chip, they are integrated as standard, but like everything in Apple ... It is capable because it is interested in data traffic over the Internet for agreements with operators ...
Like BT so that you can only enter iPhone and if you want to send the photo to the next one, then by email and so on .. more data traffic over the internet ..
It's the apple stuff that I don't like ...
I use it too and the truth is it is the best I've ever had. And I have tried many.
ATTENTION EDITORS OF ACTUALIDAD IPHONE There is a page called iphoneate which has almost 80% of the articles described here. THEY ARE STEALING YOUR NEWS by simply copying and pasting it, check it out because they are stealing your work, colleagues...
Olee there is that piece of technology !!! waiting from the iPhone 1 built-in radio!
I have downloaded the PRO version paying € 1,79 and the broadcast is constantly cut off. What happen??? 🙁
