Developers are the most important piece in any ecosystem, and without which, an operating system could never become a mass phenomenon. With each new technology that hits the market, developers try to squeeze their brains as much as possible, not only to launch new applications or games based on the features they offer us, but also on launch original applications or games that would never have occurred to us.
Rainbrow, is a curious game in which we do not have to interact with the screen to be able to play, since all the movements of the protagonist, an emoji, we do them through our eyebrows, with which depending on its position, whether it is shady (up) or angry (down) we will move the emoji to one place or another.
Behind this original game based on the True Depth technology of the iPhone X, is Nathan Gitter, a student at the University of Washington. Throughout the game, we have to move the main emoji to collect stars avoiding vehicles, balls, clouds, ducks at all times, so if you thought it was a boring game, you are very wrong.
Rainbrow does not offer us levels, the difficulty simply increases as we collect more stars, so the main objective of the game is to achieve the highest possible score, although for this we end up with incredible muscles in the face due to the exercises that we are going to have to do to do not tire quickly.
At the moment, it is not compatible with Game Center, but according to the developer, will implement it in future updates. Regarding the permissions requested by the application, we find that we have to give it access to the camera so that it can detect the movement of our eyebrows at all times, since otherwise I will be able to enjoy this original game.
Rainbrow is available for download for free And according to the developer, it is likely that in future updates, it will include in-app purchases for those users who want to change the main emoji for another.
