Is it advisable to install the beta of iOS 10 or better to wait?

ios-10

Last week after many months of waiting and rumors, the Cupertino-based company introduced iOS 10, the tenth version of the operating system for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch which will arrive in its final version in September, hand in hand with the new iPhone models.

Today developers are already testing the first beta that the company launched just after the WWDC presentation keynote. At the moment and like last year, the first beta, and it is very likely that the second one as well, is also limited to developers and not to users who are part of the public beta program.

En Actualidad iPhone we have taught you how you can install the first beta of iOS 10, which is intended only for developers, since being a first version, its stability and operation usually leave much to be desired. But unlike other betas, the first of iOS 10 is working much better than we could expect and it is hardly causing reboots, application closures, excessive battery consumption ...

In particular, I have been testing it for almost two weeks and in all that time, I've only experienced the unexpected reboot twice. Regarding battery consumption, I have not noticed any important difference compared to the latest version of iOS 9 that I had previously installed. Of course, you have to bear in mind that if you decide to install it, you must do it from scratch without restoring any previous backup, since the problems that you could have in the previous version may affect the operation of this beta.

In my experience and that of other users who have been testing this first beta of iOS 10, I could say that if you do not mind suffering the odd restart with your device, you can install the first beta of iOS 10 without problems, especially if you don't use it for work where our terminal always has to be available to be used.

However, if you are not in a hurry, but you want to try the operation and all the news of iOS 10, the best you can do is wait for Apple to release the first public beta of iOS 10, public beta scheduled for the month of July and that will surely coincide with the third beta for developers, where the operation and stability of iOS 10 will have improved considerably, despite the fact that it is already quite good.

Well, with me it is the opposite, watchos restarts every time I want to use the clock and iOS the only thing it has are the crashes (yes, a little strange) and the most frustrating thing is that it asks for your Facebook account every 2 minutes

Personally, I have been testing iOS 2 for 10 days and so far I have not had problems with restarting or closing apps. Installed in an iPhone 6S, in terms of battery, according to me it is better than iOS 9

It took about four days and no reboot or problem of any kind, consumption is very similar and I even think it goes faster than with ios 9.3.2

For those who install and wonder if it is good. Or not if it is recommended and blabla, fears or doubts are common, but remember that they not only install a beta and that it is forgotten, but as the weeks go by it will become more reliable and more stable for now I with small failures but nothing that makes me want to uninstall it on the contrary with ample to continue testing future betas

I am new to iphone, I come from android and apparently here it is the same in terms of a beta, each cell phone is a different world and according to the comments it is confirmed, for the simple fact that some work well and others do not.!

Completely agree. But how "clean" the device is also plays a role.

Hello, I have a question; I already installed beta 1 on my iPhone, when the public beta comes out, can I upload to it from this beta or do I have to restore it to upload to it?
    Greetings 😉

Being with the beta of the developers, it will notify you of the betas of these, not the public ones. Keep in mind that the developer betas come out before the public ones so you will always have the latest version available, regardless of the public beta that came out.

I do not recommend it at all.
On my iphone 6s +, facebook cannot be used, if you access the camera from the lock screen it crashes sometimes, it is slower when opening apps, it uses more battery (25% more), some other things don't work well either, when resetting it gives errors on the screen and makes image capture alone ... Anyway, how to work, it works but I don't recommend it.

I have not been able to install it since iOS 9.3.2 after updating it remotely, the computer restarts every so often, it hangs, it closes the apps, I cannot downgrade it due to the continuous restart, who can help me please, Santodomingo5@Hotmail.com

First of all, you would have to make a copy of all the photos and contacts that you have on your mobile if you can.
Second, you would have to put the mobile in DFU, connect it to iTunes and install the latest version of iOS from the application (it will be downloaded automatically) so that it is installed from scratch and without any previous rest.

That is not the correct question.
The correct question would be: Do you want to screw up your idevice by installing a beta version and have everything go to hell?
