Record video in 2K quality with your iPhone 5S thanks to Ultrakam

We are in a few months in which rumors about the specifications that the next generation of iPhone will bring with it are incessant, many of them claim that the next device will bring a camera with more megapixels and others claim that it will follow the 8 megapixel format like the current one. But right now users with a iPhone 5S can increase the quality of Video recording from this to the 2K thanks to the new application available in the App Store called ultrakam.

If the high definition 1080p recording standard on the iPhone 5S is not enough, we can record in this 2K format, for those who do not know what it refers to, it is video recording at a size of 2240 × 1672 pixels, increasing the pixel density horizontally and vertically with respect to Full HD.

But the question is, How can you record iPhone camera in higher quality than it offers?, the answer is very simple, the hardware of the camera that incorporates the iPhone can record in a resolution up to 3264 × 2448 pixels, but the software cannot process that data stream. For this, the application has been created, which has a more efficient video codec to achieve this. We will lose the 120 fps speed in this format, but it will allow us to record in a stream of 30 fps very efficient, considering that we can also record in 24 fps, the one used in the cinema.

The Ultrakam app brings with it a multitude of options when adjusting quality of our recording, it also allows video recording SlowMotion and do Timelapse. If we have another iPhone, its developers have also published another application in the App Store that serves as remote control for Ultrakam, which will allow us to use the second device to handle the main one placed on a tripod, as we can see in the video. The only downside that we can put to this recording quality is the enormous space that a clip occupies, to think that every minute of video will add up to 3GB of storage, so you have to take into account having a 5 GB iPhone 64S if we want to record enough material to make a movie.

You can now download the Ultrakam application from the App Store at a price of 5,99 € and the Ultrakam Remote Control app via Bluetooth is priced at 2,69 €, we attach the direct links for download.

The truth is that with my 5Gb iPhone 64S I have plenty of memory, why do you want microSDs that break every two by three, let them tell my wife's S4, what a shit the microSD for something the nexus do not mount it, in end there are still antique dealers around the world.

I have been researching all the videos about Ultrakam and iPhone 2k that I have seen on youtube and none are real 2K.

What app joke is this? If it were true, there would be a real video test at 1440p, as of today or 1.
