Today we bring a tutorial on Reflector. This magnificent program allows us to reflect all the video and audio from your iPad on the computer in real time. Where and how much?
Reflector you can download it from its official page for the modest price of $ 12.99, although it also allows a seven-day trial. Reflector is compatible with both Mac OS X, Windows up to version 8, Android and Amazon fireTV.
We download the installer and follow the simple steps to install it. Once installed, if we have decided to purchase the final version, we simply have to click on «Register Key» and add the serial number that has been sent to us by email.
How do I connect it?
Once started on the computer, the corresponding small icon will appear in the notification area. Having activated the WiFi and the Bluetooth we simply display the control center of our iDevice and click on «AirPlay», once inside we activate the «Duplication» option. Instantly our device will appear reflected on the computer screen.
Can I reproduce the sound also on the computer?
Indeed, you only have to take off the control center, and instead of clicking on the section where the name of our computer appears, click on «Air Drop» and in the next menu on «All». In fact, if we don't activate «Duplication» previously, we can reproduce only the sound.
Change the look of the mirrored device:
- Device: To toggle the device mask, click with the second button on the reflected area and within the "frame skin" section a drop-down will open with all the devices that we can show as a frame.
- Frameless: To remove the frame and only reflect the screen, click with the second button on the reflected area and deactivate «Show Frame».
- The size: Reflector offers us three sizes, original, enlarged or reduced, click with the second button on the reflected area and in the «scale» section a drop-down menu will open that will allow us to select it.
- Orientation: The application allows us to select the automatic orientation reflecting the device, to force the vertical or horizontal in the same menu.
- Fullscreen: The first of the menu options is "Full Screen", this is the ideal option to enjoy our games or multimedia content.
