How to remove AirDrop option from iOS share menu (Tweak)

Since its arrival and subsequent popularization, the AirDrop function has become one of the most used, if not the best, when it comes to sharing documents, videos, photos or any other type of file between iOS devices and between a Mac and an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. But not everyone is dedicated to sharing files with other friends or with the Mac on a daily basis and in the long run the option shown on the screen may be more of a problem than anything else. Fortunately, thanks to the jailbreak we can eliminate any trace of our iOS device related to the AirDrop option.

In a native way and without resorting to jailbreak we can deactivate the AirDrop function through the Control Center, but as we all know, despite being deactivated continues to appear as an option when sharing any file. To eliminate any trace of this function we must resort to the AirDrop Disabler tweak.

Thanks to AirDrop Disabler, a free tweak created by Justin Petkovic, we can remove the icon that represents AirDrop from the share menu, so that from now on, we will not have a loose icon at the top of the share menu that all it does is reduce the size of the image or video that we want to share, as we see in the image that heads this article.

Thanks to compatibility with Springtomize 4, We can hide the AirDrop option from the Control Center and thus eliminate any trace of this function from our device, since even though AirDrop Disabler removes it from the Share menu, it is still present when we show the Control Center. AirDrop Disabler, it does not have configuration options once we have installed it, it is available for free download through the BigBoss repo and it is compatible with all devices with iOS 10.
