Ringer & Tones, take control of the sound of notifications (Cydia)

Ringer & Tones

We already explained to you the other day how to change the sound of WhatsApp notifications, using iFile or any file manager. If you found it complicated, or you could not get this method to work, you may be interested in this "new" application. Ringer & Tones isn't really new, it is the Ringer X VIP update (version that continues to work on iOS 5 and 6), being exclusively for iOS 7, and offering many options, among which is to change the sound of notifications.

Ringer & Tones-Cydia

Ringer & Tones gives you almost absolute control over iOS sounds. The push notifications of any application, those of the native iOS applications (Messages, Mail) and those of the calls, will all be modifiable, application by application and contact by contact, with options to silence certain contacts, or on the contrary, make the contacts that we configure ring despite being in silent mode. It also integrates with Do Not Disturb from iOS 7, being able to establish what to do in each case, whether to respect this mode or skip it. A huge list of options that are individually configurable for each application and for each contact.

Ringer & Tones-1

The configuration of notifications is done from the iOS Settings menu, accessing the Ringer & Tones submenu. We will find the switch to enable or not the tweak, and with the rest of the configuration options. Accessing "Configure" within "Notifications of Applications" we can add the applications that we want to modify.

Ringer & Tones-2

At first the applications window will be blank. By clicking on the «+» we will access the list of all the applications installed on iOS, and we will be able to add them. After entering each application we can configure the rest of the options already indicated, and at the end of the whole we will find the option to select the sound (Tone).

In the case of calls, we must configure it contact by contact, for which we must access the contact within our phone book, click on "Edit" and go to the bottom, where we will find the option "Ringer & Tones" with the same configuration options that we have already seen for notifications.

An ideal application for those who want to control all the sounds of their iPhone, and who requires iOS 7 to work. It is not compatible with iPad. It is now available on the BigBoss repo.

I have a problem I have it installed but when a notification arrives if I am with the phone unlocked it silences everything else for example if I am on Netflix or a game loses the sound and does not return only when I exit and return to the app, does anyone know why?
